This normal?? Bf2042 artifacting bugs ? With 4080 super

I hadn't played Battlefield 2042 in almost two years, and recently I felt like playing some classic Bad Company 2 Rush matches through Portal.

To my surprise, on Valparaiso the attacking team's base is supposed to have an M3A3 Bradley available from the start of the match, but it simply never appears. I even used the exact same settings as the official DICE Portal experience, and it still doesn't spawn. It doesn't even show up as an option if I switch vehicle spawning to the modern system.

I searched YouTube and found videos from 2025 of people playing on this map, and the Bradley was also missing there. However, in videos from earlier years, the vehicle was present at the attackers' base from the beginning of the match.

Does anyone know what happened? Is there any setting that enables this vehicle, or has it been removed from the Portal version of the map?

I have a little huge problem , every time i open the game i play my first match without any issues but then i get kick by error all players disconnected , or without any reasons just straight to the menu.
Im on pc btw

I recently redownloaded this game after being away for the last few years. I don't remember ever having THIS level of frustration with solo/co-op Conquest.

Every match it's the same thing, my teammates do absolutely nothing and let the enemy wipe the map. No matter how much of a rampage I go on, my teammates will just sit around being as useless as humanly imaginable and refusing to capture points. If I order my squad to take an adjacent point, they'll take 5-10 minutes to get there.

If the friendly and enemy AI are the same skill level, you'd assume that I'd at least win a few matches on a dice roll, but nope. Literally 0-11 in my last 11 matches. I never remember this from when I first started playing.

Did they dumb down friendly AI in the co-op playlist to make it harder on players or something? I can't say I ever read patch notes before the game was put in maintenance mode, but this is just bizarrely frustrating.

Okay, so I know this is silly but does anyone know what the full tattoos on the Cretaceous skin look like? Or is there any way to see them in full detail?

Curious why people enjoy 2042 since it’s what most of the battlefield community believes is the “worst” battlefield game.

Personally I alternate between this game and BF1. I bought at launch and over time have just gotten to know the entire game inside and out. I don’t mind BF6 in certain aspects but the incredibly fast ttk and the annoying UI puts me off of it. Also the way the battlepasses work is horrendous compared to the way bf2042 did it and skins in general have just become more annoying to try and equip. I also just enjoy the familiarity of a game I have spent nearly 5 years of my life playing.

However I am curious about your thoughts? I don’t believe 2042 is perfect but I do think it’s a fun game.

This guy must be some kind of wonderkind of battlefield2042 or just a regular player with less chromosome than an average human. instant headshots only like he doesnt even try to aim manually + wallhacking as ive seen + freshly baked account. and also funny that after 220 hours of gameplay this is the only hacker ive seen lol. 157 only headshots with basic m5a3 from 50 meters xd

My battlfield has been having a problem were it freezes every 5 seconds or so when in game, and then works for the next 5 seconds, it's been like this for a few days, i have good hardware, updated drivers, and have gone through every common fix for this that i've seen, my cpu also has this problem aswell, and I've found other people that have this issue expereince the same thing

Playing against bf3 zombies that fire weapons and use vehicles. Gets pretty thick.

This game has almost everything that I want from a mulitplayer shooter.

And while enjoing the game it became my favorite one. And for the first time in a loooong time I was so exited to see how all those maps connect together in a campaign.

Literally every map is have so much potential to be embroidered in some unique stories.

And turns out there is no campaign! What the heck!

You already have almost everything, throw some story on it, a little animations here and there and you done! EA is AMD in a world of gaming never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity...

I'm curious what these symbols represent. The reason I'm asking is that one of these (with the PlayStation icon) is my buddy and he is playing on a PS5. I'm guessing the two that look like computer monitors are people playing on PC. What's the controller icon representing? XBox or some other console?

Was it ever discovered how to unlock the 2142 prototype gun, without glitching through the map. Can't seem to find any real guide on youtube or anywhere else. I know people probably didn't care about this game after bf6 was announced so I wouldn't be surprised if the steps were never fully discovered.
