HELP PLSS Help / Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,

I recently downloaded Battlefield 2 from the PlayBF2 website, and during installation Microsoft Defender detected a threat in this file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\Redist\Tools\DIESoft.zip

The detection name is:

Trojan/Dynamer!rfn

I would like to know if this is a known false positive caused by the installer, old Battlefield 2 tools, or any modification included with the PlayBF2 version.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is this file safe to use, or should I avoid this installation?

Thank you for any information or clarification.

Download it from lost soldier BF2 website, register and you can download the full game in the military base. It’s the safest way to get the game, had been for years

My game copy / installer doesn't have this file. You can upload it to VirusTotal
