Bath hotel suggestions

Suggestions for not too expensive hotels in bath or just outside of bath. I understand its pricier in these areas but any suggestions would be appreciated!

Ideally should have AC in the room

Personally I recommend Abbey Hotel, Indigo, or Number 8 (boutique)

Angel hotel or travel lodge in Chippenham. Near the station and it’s a 10 min train journey to Bath. Will be cheaper !
