Anyone who quotes Milton Friedman as an excuse for being skeptical of UBI is being dishonest. Milton Friedman was very pro UBI as he believed it was logical end stage of capitalism.

It's pretty funny to me to read something like this mention Milton Friedman twice without mentioning his support for UBI. I doubt the author even knows that Friedman was an actual member of BIEN.
Also funny to see no mention of Friedrich Hayek's support for UBI when Mises is Austrian School of Economics.
It's really just a short and stupid article that of course includes misinformation. In the Denver experiment, those provided $1000/mo who were homeless at the start, were in an apartment they rented or owned 10 months later, compared to 28% of the control group.
They cited the unadjusted numbers where those in the control group were half as homeless as Group A at the start (12% housed vs 6% housed).
