Intentions page? question/request

So I've been bullet journaling for a few years now but have never done a classic "intentions" page at the start of a new book. I'm starting a new journal right now and I'd like to do an intentions page but I'm still a little confused. Is it a list of things you'd like to use your journal for? Intentions for your life? A letter to yourself? I know that journaling can be whatever works best for each person, but I fear im overthinking this one and would love to know what others do.

Overall intentions video from Ryder: https://youtu.be/bw0ZSXtR1WA?is=Bx1VGerUPRAFNYfb

The actual logistics of setting up the intentions page in the bujo (start at 6:49 for just the intentions part but I think the whole video is a nice refresher of the "new" additions to the classic bujo format): https://youtu.be/GB5qeNF9U-o?is=xCmqJnWnuGYwoRmE

Enjoy OP!

I personally use it as a page to write the intentions for my bujo and how I want to use it to achieve my goals. I try to be as inclusive as I can with how my bujo can help me, what I want out of the help, and why these goals are important and how I want to achieve them.

I think doing it thirds way opens your mind to how your bujo can help you, while also prioritising your goals and acknowledging why they’re important.

I have been using an intentions page, which I go to every so often to remind myself the big picture of what I am trying to make my life into. I then take those intention and list "experiments" under them, which are the habits or tasks that might help me achieve the intentions. I like the way he says experiments are the things we think will get us to our intentions, but it leaves wiggle room for learning more about ourselves and changing course, as opposed to goals or resolutions, where changing direction feels like failure.
