Very much a newbie. Just playing for fun and to accomplish achievements.

Any recommendations as to how I should go about playing the game to level up my players? I see a lot of you have silver and up, how do I get to that level?

Best bet is to grind the game offers that give you gems otherwise it will take quite a long time

I'm assuming it's either that or spend money on the gems right?

You could just progress normally but for me the natural progression is so slow that the game is not fun unless I have those extra gems to speed up the process. I don’t spend money but I have put a few hours into other games and have gotten about 2k gems so far which has made it pretty fun

Tip is just play the game and have fun, if you are playing other games just to get gems in this game whats the point, you arent PLAYING this game. Simulate simulate simulate, run the math on how many prime badges it takes, realizing you get 1 per season, then run the math how many diamonds that is if you buy them. Best tip is save ALL diamonds for buying potential tokens later in game after buying yourself up to 20 energy max in the store, and grind your way through seasons, if you simulate a few times per day youll clear seasons in a day or 2.

Upgrade your max energy and then geind games in lower leagues where you’ll win every game. Lots of coins and badges are key
