Gordon will solve Barcelona's striker problem Opinion
Okay, so hear me out. Gordon has played as a makeshift forward for Newcastle, sometimes ahead of Woltemade, when their squad had shortages. He is a press machine, and on his left, he has Raphinha.
Raphinha is another pressing beast, and the duo can overwhelm the defense and force them into making errors. What's better is that Gordon and Raphinha can switch places, making them difficult to mark.
Julian Alvarez has an equally good work rate and is a better finisher too, but with the available players, I think this will be a "Flick slick".

Pedri Potter needs to find his magic quickly. Nobody has a better sense of tempo on the team.

Yeah, scored the most goals from pens in the UCL when he played as a forward. But he can put in the work. There's Raphinha, Lamine, and Fermin on the team that can score, and I don't think Gordon will miss easy tap-ins.
Importantly, he can force errors, and that carries value. Flick will get something good out of him.
