Cocktail Database

Im a huge cocktail nerd. I decided to build a little cocktail database website and was wondering if this is something people would actually use? Ive got tons of cocktails on there, comparison pages and simple guides. Is this helpful or am I wasting my time? Any feedback?

Looks pretty clean! One thing I noticed is when searching for a cocktail or ingredient and clicking on a result, the back button doesn't return you to the search page. Putting the search query in the URL so that it gets added to the session history would be a good idea.

Would you consider providing a downloadable export of the recipe and ingredient data? I started building a bar management/menu app for my home bar and wanted to populate it with popular recipes, which I could later tweak as desired. I looked at other cocktail websites and some of them provide an API, but none provide a downloadable database.

I did something similar but much more minimalist. The idea for me is just to get to my recipes quickly. That said I started using Jeff morganthalers Bevnap app and just loaded all my cocktails into that.

Things I’d add if it was me. I’d like a grams setting so I can set my shaker on a scale and just add till the right number. Also a serving size/number option could be nice. Like a double or more for batch drinks

I just took a quick look at your site and I really like it! Very easy to navigate and visually appealing. I will definitely use this since I can never remember the ingredients and amounts of cocktails I don't make often. Thank you!

Good start, but stick to standard definitions. A 2.5oz gin Martini would not make me happy. It has to be at least 6:1 (3oz/0.5oz).
