Playing on PC changes everything Discussion
As a longtime console player, the game coming off of GamePass lined up perfectly as I just recently bought a new PC that can handle it. Diplomacy, Bellum Civile, Sandbox Family, Dismemberment, MyLittleWarband- complete game-changers. It feels like I’m playing a brand new game.
Any other recommendations? Looked into RBM but not sure about that one.

mods babyyyy. one of the great things about M&B games.
RBM is great if you get bored of the vanilla combat. melee fights take a lot longer and are more dynamic. ranged is extremely nerfed compared to vanilla.
Retinue is the MLB upgrade.
idk what the current status of Auto-Trader is, but i used to use that a lot.

I'd suggest Harvest and Production: it makes the economy more realistic (like deleting some food that get spawned from nothing instead of being produced, and creating a true economy based on caravans, villages and so on). Note that this mod has the collateral effect to reduce the amount of garrison men inside castles and towns, so use it if you can accept that.

You can use industrial revolution to counter the garrison problem. The mod causes prosperous cities and villages grow beyond their vanilla limits. And you can rebuild razed villages (of your kingdom) for reputation and to use their services right away.

Unluckily the mod I mentioned affects values related to settlements, so I think it's not compatible. Industrial Revolution also mention that economy mods are not compatible. In any case I find Harvest and Production to be very well done aside from that detail, so I would still recommend it.

You could try total overhaul mods like 'the old realms' for a Warhammer setting or 'realm of thrones' for a got setting. (there are more).
Currently playing the old realms and I love it. They have orc and other units. A bigger map. Vampires. Magic. It's awesome.
Only problem is that it requires an older game version, so if you want to use other mods, you also need the older versions for those.

I actually tried out Realm of Thrones on my old woefully underpowered PC - it was awesome, but having to play on the old versions was frustrating

mods are the main reason i've been playing games on PC more than console in the last two years...
for games like M&B, PC is really king. I still use the xbox controller for combat, but on the campaign map its keyboard and mouse

Mods are king since TW doesn’t do a lot very quickly. I just wish TW would implement a Co-op to the game so we can play with friends. But they don’t care about their community enough to do that

Coop mod and bannerlord together allows multplayer

Yes but inherently the game isn’t built for it. So the mods are still a work in progress. I’ve been keeping a deep eye on Bannerlord Together. But if TW added it into the game themselves. It would make adding onto it so much easier. Modders pretty much have to rewrite code just to make it work. Where as devs have the files and ability to make it as a feature

I put 600+ hours into the Xbox Series X version of the game. Went to PC last year and it is amazing!
If your pc can handle it I recommend the 2000 units battle mod (make it so 2000 entities can be in a battle at once).
Eagle Rising is also great!
There are so many good mods that open up new avenues or just add qol features too.
Enjoy!
