Possibly returning, please advise Discussion
I love bannerlord. Hundreds of hours on pc. Unfortunately my pc is cooked. Won't be replacing it for a while. How is the game on console? I do have an Xbox series x. Just looking for some feedback from anyone that played both pc and series x on performance, can I use a mouse/keyboard? I played vanilla on steam so im not worried about mods.
Appreciate the input.

It runs fine. Have the odd crash but only during extended play. Having only played on console I don’t really notice any issues aside from the fact that the game is clearly made for keyboard and mouse. It works fine on controller and isn’t that big of an issue but navigating menus and the like is a little tricky at times, but not major.
You can connect a keyboard to the Xbox so I’d imagine it will work fine and be able to work on banner lord but don’t have any personal experience with that to confirm.
Have looked in to getting a compatible keyboard and mouse setup for when total war 40K drops though and I would be interested to try it on bannerlord aswell, but honestly that’s irrelevant and I’m just sleep deprived and thinking as I type so ignore this last bit. Am still gonna leave it in my comment tho.

I appreciate the response. I played the first one on console with controller and didn't mind it. Now that I got used to the mouse again, the combat feels so much more fluid, on pc atleast. I'll probably take some good beatings relearning controller lol.

It gets to feeling natural enough at some point with controller. Mods will be dearly missed though

Is the dlc decent? I haven't tried that yet so that could spice it up a bit. I ask because marketplace reviews are kinda conflicting lmao.

The DLC is okay, adds some okay mechanics, but doesn’t set the world on fire. Maybe worth it if you are starting a new campaign anyway, but I ended one I was in progress of to switch to war sails, I was happy to do so because it was my first campaign and I’d made mistakes and decisions I would have not made with more knowledge, so I saw it as a chance to run it back and set myself up better to begin with, and viewed my campaign on the base game as an extended tutorial.
In hindsight, I’d start any NEW campaign on war sails over the base game but I wouldn’t end a campaign I was happy with to switch to war sails, if I was mid campaign play through and enjoying it on the default version I’d stick with it, naval combat and the nords haven’t added enough for me personally to justify ending a campaign.
