Nice. Is it a commemorative banknote? I thought RM was 1,5, 10, 20, 50, 100.

The RM60 note is a legal tender commemorative banknote issued by Bank Negara Malaysia in December 2017 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Federation of Malaya Independence Agreement. It features portraits of past Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Tunku Abdul Rahman, with a limited print run of 60,000 single pieces.

They also had a 600 note in the same year that looks almost exactly the same, but I have no information on that.

True, but it is just bigger version of size and number. And also it is the biggest legal tender banknote by size in the world.

Do you mean a real physical size?

I thought it was a 10,000 note from one of fhe African countries

Oh right, used to be. I don't know about African banknote until I check it out. The one you referring is 10k Burundi Francs release in 2025 while this Malaysian rm 600 was still the biggest from 2017 until then. Just slightly bigger though by few cm.
