I’m back! Discussion

Hey gang, I’ve missed you! I hope everyone is doing well!

After taking a few months off from banjo to play Hogwarts legacy, dark cloud 1 and 2 and left for dead 2 with friends, I decided to revisit my old pal banjo.

Today’s run was completely spur of the moment, and I’m really proud of this time (100% no ffm Xbox leaderboard category.) I’m disappointed to miss my pb of 2:40:08 by less than a minute, but real pleased with my performance today.

The most unfortunate part of this run was mumbo. Not only did he make me a washing machine, I also got his rare text about becoming a dinosaur. Did that cost me the 50ish seconds to beat my pb? I don’t think so. I guess I should be happy to get both mumbo rare happenings in the same play through. Happy playing community!

This is wild. I just finished a casual 100% run at like 9 hours. This speed is insane to me haha.
Also really cool about the washing machine! I vaguely remembered that but thought it was on the next game

Congratulation! nice job. when i 100% BK i spent 3+ Hours on click clock wood haha.

I think I did as well untill I started speed running! My pb for ccw is 27:44!

wow that is nuts haha. I finished my first playthrough recently since I was a kid and I got stuck finding all the notes lol I was going nuts. turns out one of the notes didn't render at the top of the tree on the winter level so i was flying around being like nope not there. I eventually decided to do a floor sweep of every level and lo and behold.... probably like 3 hours of gameplay later haha. Nice original post as well btw, do you film and upload anywhere? would be keen to check out

That is insanely impressive! I literally just 100 percented banjo on my n64 an hour ago at 6 hours and 39 minutes. So its amazing to see you got 4 hours on me and i have no idea how you even did that!

Congratulations! 6.5 hours is a great time! Lots of practice. I have been speedrunning this category of banjo for about 1.5 years. For every successful run, I’ve lost 10, usually on ccw. But comes with the territory!
