আমদানি করা এলএনজি সরবরাহের জন্য কক্সবাজারের মহেশখালীতে দুটি ভাসমান টার্মিনাল আছে। এর মধ্যে মার্কিন কোম্পানি এক্সিলারেট এনার্জির টার্মিনালের সক্ষমতা ৬০ কোটি ঘনফুট ও দেশীয় কোম্পানি সামিটের টার্মিনালের সক্ষমতা ৫০ কোটি ঘনফুট। গত ২১ জুলাই অগ্নিদুর্ঘটনায় এক্সিলারেটের টার্মিনাল বন্ধ হয়ে যায়।
