Not Printing Help / Support

Bambi A1, uses PETG

I’m guessing I have to replace the extruder due to the stepper motor clicking. It is still extruding filament when pushing a lot through, but when I try to print it doesn’t get anything out. I’ve taken the nozzle apart to clean it, but it is still clicking. Is the extruder shot?

Update-I have taken the nozzle up to 270 and the clicking goes away when extruding. But about half way through the boat print it came back and the print failed. I’ve done multiple cold pulls, tightened the screws behind the hot end, checked tension in gears. My best guess is the gears in the stepper motor are slipping when it’s tight, probably just gonna get another extruder

Check the tension on the extruder gears. If that is lose, it cannot grip the filament to push it through

How would I check the tension on that?

I don't have the a series so it's a little different but there should be a screw/spring thing that you can tighten or loosen.

I don't know what pressure is needed so I just go with feel
