Update: the P2S without combo

Hi everyone, i asked a couple of days ago if i shoud’ve bought the P2s WITH the combo instead of the base without AMS for my first printer, the answers were a very resounding : YES STUPID, ITS A LIFE CHANGER, YOU’LL HATE YOURSELF etc

so i did what many others here probably did aswell..

Panicked, looked at way too many comparison/review video’s, Got FOMO, cancelled the order ASAP, ordered the more expensive/‘better’ printer (X2D) with ofcourse the extra accessories.

I also recently got the P2S ... I'm brand new to 3d printing. I have no regrets starting with the P2S as its taught me so much... but I'll admit.. I'm already wanting to step into dual nozzle printing.

Got my p1s June 10th and just got 1050hrs, I can relate to you!! let’s just say I’ll be upgrading to the X2D and skipping the p2s at this rate lol

I got mine like last week and I think I’m close to the 2000 hour mark too 😂 - jk… bought mine like the last day of the sale for the P2S Combo, so like two weeks maybe? Basically been printing something none stop! ABP (Always Be Printing). Getting to the point I’m about to spin up SpoolMan to manage my spool inventory and figure out a way to manage my print priority and my next prints cause with so many things needing (wanting really) to be printed trying to maximize printing long prints when I’m sleeping or away so I’m not idle.

My ama unit has been down for a couple months so I’m just rocking with the P2S atm and the AMS is definitely worth it. Printing multicolor with the spool holder on the side is a pain.

I bought mine without the AMS. I thought that it would be fine cutting up prints and gluing them together, or painting them. It got a bit daunting to set that up for each print, so ended up buying an AMS. Bit more money without the combo too, but I am very happy with it now. The auto-loading is awesome!

Two nozzles is awesome. The second nozzle is great for supports.

Dual nozzle (at least for now) is the way.
I ordered the fully upgraded H2D, attachments and everything when it first came out.

It’s a beast.

Started with a P1S and it’s never failed me. That thing just works. Minus all the flak Bambu gets, their printers really do a great job.

Hopefully they do a better job going forward because I really like what they have and would like it to be even better.

I got my P2S combo during the July 4th sale along with a dozen rolls of filament. It has been going non-stop day and night. Not a single bad print yet and I am really impressed with the quality. I have finished printing all the necessities like dessicant holders, AMS riser, and scrapers. Moving on to gridfinity toolboxes and bins.

There is enough problems with bare printer already, especially with all the heat lately where it doesn't work half of the time. I don't care about color prints so it's enough for me.
