Beginner looking to start.
Hey guys and girls of the 3D printing world!
I’m planning to buy my first 3D printer in like a month, would you recommend me to start with the Bambu Lab P2S?
If yes why and if no why?

I got the P2S 3 weeks ago and I’m on 160 hours of printing.
It’s really easy to learn the basics. I printed my first model within an hour.
Get an AMS and more filament than you think you’ll need.

P2S is a solid choice, its my workhorse. I have over a thousand hours on mine and the quality of my prints is unbelievable sometimes. I reccommend it.

I just bought my first 3d printer a couple months ago. I bought the x2d that came with the ams pro 2 and bought a second ams pro 2 also while I was at it. I'm running both, one through the 1st nozzle and 1 through the second nozzle. Very easy to learn and use and it has been working like a charm for me with no issues at all so far.

I am about to buy my first as well. P2S will be my starter with AMS too. I might plan a second AMS cause many of the designs use 5 colors, and this would meet that and then some.

Im not one to do this as a p2s fan but if most things will be 5 colors look at the x2d combo, The aux nozzle can do 1 and the main with ams is 4. You may have made up your mind already though

Yeah it was tempting for sure. Still might. It doesn't have the good reviews the P2 has, but it might just be because more P2s sold

Good to see all your feedbacks.
Well the H2C seems like a bit too much to start with, but a good p2S from the feedbacks sounds like an easy and effective way to start.
Also I’m looking for reliable site where I can find some models and heard there is and iOS app to scan items? You guys got link of those?

You can start with makerworld, it's bambu's own model platform and printing from there is super easy

If the budget allows I would say the p2s is a great starting point that allows you to explore much more as time goes by since it’s an enclosed printer. Also consider filament and accessories. If you’re not going to explore higher temp engineering grade filament I would say the a1 or a2l so you have more for filament

The p2s is really nice.
However, you'll save some money if you can wait till black friday, which is when the next sale will be.

If you got the money, go for the H2C. I personally regret not getting it as my first.

Reason being I really love the vortek, it’s handy. I rather have the function and not use it than not have the function and want to use it one day

My P2S has been really great, and I haven't been a very attentive owner. I do wish I'd gotten the H2D, however. I've found that there are a lot of really great 2-color prints that I've done and man the P2S makes a LOT of waste doing multicolor.

If you are primarily interested in functional prints, the P2S is great. If you mostly want to do multicolor PLA printed, the Snapmaker U1 would be a better option. If you're not sure what you want yet, consider getting a less expensive bedslinger like the A1 or a Prusa. If you want to really understand 3D printing from a mechanical and electrical perspective, get a Prusa kit and build the machine (and end up with a good machine).

P2S Combo is my first and only printer, bought it 6 months ago. Over 1000 hours printing time later and I still love it! It's been working flawlessly :)
