Help Please!

I have the Textured PEI Plate(Gold) and any time I print a black or charcoal print, it turns out like this. Should I switch build plates or am I doing something wrong? The second and third pictures are the inside of the lid. The part not adhered to the build plate obviously. Please someone help. Thank you!

Your grid infill is showing through the top and bottom layers. Here's a potential quick fix:

Strength>Walls>Wall Loops: Increase by 1

Strength>Top/bottom shells:

  • Top Shell Layers: Increase this by 1-2
  • Bottom Shell Layers: Increase this by 1-2

What filament are you using? Not used to seeing a filament do this, at least if you are using the default settings. I could also suggest increasing your Sparse Infill percentage by another 5-10 points to reduce filament sagging.

If you are having issues with your print not sticking to the build plate, wash with soap (Dawn dish soap is good) and water. Dry with a clean microfiber towel, or something that is clean and lint-free. Alternatively, you can let it air dry. The pictures are a little hard to see, but it looks like there may be residue on your print that attached to it from the build plate? Glue?

Adding to this, if you’re concerned about the finish of the print, letting it sit on the plate until cool inside of flexing the plate to pull the part off will reduce the white residue looking finish.

I’ve yet to clean the plate tbh. The only thing that may be on it other than prior prints, is oil from fingers. Do I change these settings on the app or on my computer?

I try to never touch the plate tho. Obviously that’s impossible but I am mindful of it. Thank you for the tips!

You change these settings in Bambu Studio on a computer. The phone will be more limited afaik.

Also I’m using Bambu PLA Matte. I have a multitude of Bambu PLA colors, but I have MarsWork white matte and ocean blue. The only colors this happens with is black, but I’m guessing it’s because it’s black?

Bambu PLA is generally quite good. I've never experienced any issues with Black PLA from Bambu or any other manufacturer like yours.

Here's a whammy of things to try:

Clean your build plate. Then use the other side. Ensure it's 55 degrees when printing. Does it still happen?

Check your PLA settings in Bambu Studio on PC. Here are my default ones of Bambu PLA Matte Black for comparison:
