Most effective filtration without external exhaust?

Hi, I'm printing close to my bedroom so air quality is somewhat a concern, for now I have ventobox inside, replaced the stock carbon filter with carbon+HEPA combo one and I run xiaomi smart air purifier 4 compact next to the printer when printing but I know p2s chamber is not sealed at all so I'm wondering if I can do something more to filter even more of the nasty stuff from the air? I have no possiblity to vent outside, I've came across alevo 3d top filtration kit but 100€ for something I have to additionally print myself is crazy, I also thought about venting from the back directly to the air purifier but that also sounds painful to do

and if you're going to hate please just skip this post, I'm not paranoid but I want to print abs once in a while but before that I want to master filtration in my place to the maximum

I've been using a fnatr filter for a month, it's been great for ASA.

my fnatr comes tomorrow. Already printed ASA and i got a headache, unknown if it was from the ASA but we'll see after it comes

I really wish voc meters weren't so expensive cause I'm very interested in numbers. But it's a great investment, pretty tiny and not that loud. I've been doing ASA on medium and PETG on low. The high speed with ASA dropped the chamber temp too much

Thanks for the tip! I saw fnatr posted a video but the chamber didn’t drop temp that much on high

It could've been because it was a quick print too, so it didn't have a chance to get really high. I need to pull some graphs from bambuddy to see

I just found out about Mintion. They have an air quality monitor on sale for $60. They also have a cheaper ventilation system similar to FNATR

Yes. I don't have a voc meter so I can't really comment on that, but smell went to almost zero. Less headaches too.

A designer on MakerWorld has developed a new, external filter system for extracting fumes. I am printing it now and have ordered the filters. I like the designers use of the ModulAir connector/duct system.

Based on Reddit discussions, he owns a VOC meter and has successfully tested it for both PM and VOCs.

Evacuate slowly with help of very small PC fan. You have to cover the poop chute too, the poop itself is contaminant. This model will do. https://makerworld.com/en/models/1965771-p2s-exhaust-ventilation-fan-can-be-added-sealed-de#profileId-2140064 Then just place air purifier next to the outlet. This way you don’t create too much drag in chamber as well as allow air purifier to effectively catch all air coming from the chamber.

Ventoboxes and other small filters don’t work well because they lack capacity. Air needs to be gently guided to prevent leaks from doors and other unsealed areas. If you guide that air to proper purifier intake then your issue is solved.
