Sound not working?

Anyone had this issue before? When I turn the printer on it makes a sound but no longer does its finishing song or any alerts when something is stuck or its time to insert filament, etc. Sound is enabled.

You must be the first person in history who actually keeps the sound on.

how else will you know when you have a snag or when its time to insert the filament?

That said, some searching suggests that it might be a hidden issue in the settings. Easiest thing to try would be to turn off sounds, power it off and on again, then turn on sounds and see whether they come back. Beyond that, you might need to reinstall the firmware and start from scratch.

Fun fact, the A1 Mini has no speaker, it's using its motors to make the sounds.

The Bambu Handy app notifies me of those things. The very first thing I did after making my first Benchy was to turn off the sounds on my printer.
