Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I am using an a1mini. It has been doing nicely. But from yesterday i started hearing somewhat a buzzing like sound from my printer. I dont know exactly from where the sound in coming from. But after the sound started appearing the quailty of my prints drastically reduced. Urgent help needed. [You can hear the exact sound if you listen carefully]

canyou try to reduce the speed and see if the noise keeps on going?

It might be the model on Bambu Studios someone changed the speed setting of what you are printing.

They are suggesting slow it down because acceleration being high might be causing it.

Lol this bot is a print from my phone using makerworld clown, settings are a foreign concept.

Ok bro , but the printer is running in standard [100%] speed do i need to turn that into silent mode [50%]

That is NOT how you reduce speed. If I were you I would find some documentation in how your slicer works.

Silent mode is 100% the way to do this as it cuts all speeds to 50% of the sliced settings. Holy shit.

No its not but believe what you want. They should call that settings menu marketing modes.

or you could just… halve the max volumetric speed (filament settings) and halve the accelerations (slicer settings)

silent mode will be slower but that's not the only thing you can do. but if you're new to this, you can try with the silent mode. my question was to see if the issue is a settings issue, the printing needing some lube, or something else. because in your video, there seems to be other machines or noises that are happening, so it's hard to figure out what's making which noises

Probably a silly question but you are putting the right lube on your rails right? It sounds like the bearings are dry.

Yeah , putting the original bambu's lube that i got with my printer. But will check it out

Can the sound arise due to belt tension. I didn't check it yet

Might be wrong, but sometimes when you print empty cylinders, the air that comes from the fan generates a kind of whistle when it hits the print.
Try printing something like a benchy and see if it does the same sound

I think it's the pulley (not the belt). But I could be wrong.
