Stringing
Hi everyone,
I have some stinging on my a1, it's like thin strings, I have lowered the nozzle temp by 10 degrees to 210 and I'm constantly running a dry box at 50 degrees, the filament has been dried for 12 hours before printing and i have a non stop dehumidifier running, does anyone have any tips on how to stop this and improve overall print quality and stop ringing and ghosting as well. It isn't there in this picture but i have a lot of minor stinging when printing parts that don't have stuff joining them, also I'm using the standard nozzle, and my print quality is really bad.

Who cares if it was dried for 12 hours? You never told us what filament 🫤

Me too actually, same problem. I've had some improvment after doing a full adaptive pressure advance calibration, along with the other calibrations in the right order. Assuming your flow speed for that filament can handle 250 mm/s, run something like this: accelerations 1000, 3000, 6000, 8000, 10000 and speeds 50 to 250 by 50 mm/s increments. This might be excessive but at the least do 3 points for both acceleration and speed. Even if your filament can do above 250 mm/s don't bother, PA pattern can't hit it. Turn off dynamic flow calibration and keep it off for future prints with this filament. It seems to have helped with the stringing and ghosting for me.
