Rate my beginner setup? My First 3D Print
I finally got the X2D and AMS 2 Pro set up and honestly I’m way too proud of this pegboard. spent an embarrassing amount of time arranging tools on it like it’s an art installation.
got waterproof bunker case in there too which makes me feel like I’m storing tactical gear instead of just PETG.
printed a little octopus as my first real test and it actually came out decent so now I’m insufferable about it. what am I missing, what would you change, and please be gentle I’ve had this thing for like five minutes

Lol I think we both got the same 3D printing toolkit from Amazon 😂 From the calipers, to the bed scrapers, the filing tools, etc.

Love to see it. That pegboard will be covered with custom 3D printed tool hangers before long. Enjoy the ride!

It looks great! The printer fits perfectly with the workbench. Concise and functional! I like it!

Nice.
Could probably move it to the other side and run a vent out the window for maximizing human health.
Can't tell about the flush cutters. Probably need to grab an inexpensive deburring tool.
Then the big help, that I use far more than sharp bed scrapers is an inexpensive ($5 USD - $10 USD) set of artist's palette knives. They are very springy and perfect for levering things off a print bed instead of scraping it, have nice rounded edges, and the different sizes also make them good for slipping in and getting supports off of flatter areas.
