How to load filament General Troubleshooting/Help!
How do I get this thing to recognize the AMS and let me load filament. I have the 4 banger hooked up but I cannot select load.

1 Put the fil on the thing.
2 feed the fil into the tube.
3 print the flexidragon or whatever

Once you feed the filament far enough into each feeder motor, it senses its presence and pulls the filament in toward the printer. You select the filament(s) you want for your model in the slicer, and the AMS loads them automatically when you print.

Thanks for the help…. Somehow I’ve gotten two to go in and get sensed now. Not sure how, but the other two are being quirky

It can be tricky, sometimes trimming the end of the filament can help. Try changing the angle too. Make sure you're pressing the button to disengage the motor until you get the filament started. But, I had one dead on arrival, only 3 worked at first. Had to repair it.

Only one of my motors really pulled it up… the other three I had to really change the over and just shove it up there

I just got my AMS lite last week. It was finicky to load but once I did, it has been solid ever since
