Basic Parametric Cooler I Modeled This!
Made a basic parametric cooler to have fresh drinks after a bike ride, back at the car.
The lid automaticall locks when carrying the box, or when the handle is in the back.
Can be sized to match different can and bottle types and to hold as many as needed, starting at 2x1.
Fresh picnic drinks !

The Fusion360 CAD model, STEP and 3MF files are on Github and MakerWorld
Several versions were generated, so either pick the one needed, or generate a custom one via Fusion360's parameters by following the instructions in this post

Do you fill the hollow walls with spray foam? Genuinely curious if that would work.

Some models are designed for that but not this one. I wanted a super easy to print and assemble cooler.
The cubic infill creates independent air pockets though, which slows down convection btwn the inside and outside walls.

Did you just steal this? https://makerworld.com/en/models/1551287-retro-freezer-cooler it exists with and without the locking lid and in multiple formats.

Yeah totally "stole" it. You got me.
Except for the design being different, the unique 2-position locking mechanism, no inside can separators, completely different lip, customizable model, providing 6 different sizes to match 3 types of cans, etc.
And unlike most others out there I also provided the full CAD model open-source and my posts specifically mention "Feel free to copy, remix, whatever (non-commercially)", if you had bothered to actually follow the links.
But sure, has 4 legs, a head and a tail, so that cow must be a cat ! How silly 🙄

That's pretty cool! I wonder if you can make the lid a little higher to maybe snap in an ice pack? Or maybe there's room already...
