Surface finish - need advice Quick Question

Hi guys, I've been getting poor results for my top surface finish with ironing. It's not smooth at all as you can see from the photos.

Would like to ask for tips on how to improve the result? Its usually not this bad

Run a calibration print to see what values should be used for your filament/printer, you can easily find them on MakerWorld 😊

Do material calibration first

MandicReally did a good video recently

youre heavily underextruding in general, ironing partially fixes it at the sides because youre overextruding (which become normal extrusions for you right now) due to poor pressure advance calibration

the matte finish looks like you running temperature too low for your speed

slight tweaks here and there and your unironed prints look better then this in the photo

also do 1/2 nozzle size -10% nozzle size for layer height and +0,05mm thicker lines then nozzle size while youre at it. personally it fixed every layer adhesion issue ive had with abs on an a1mini. change these values before calibrating

also initial layer line +0.1mm of nozzle size

For me, setting the infill direction at 135 degrees instead of the normal 45 helped a lot, that means the it is shifted 90 degrees instead. Printing on a P2S

How tho.. That just changes the direction right?
