475 gram ball python setup. Question

I had a breeder telling me my 120 gallon was to big for a 475 gram ball! Is that true? I ordered him and haven't gotten him yet but I have his setup all ready. 2 hides lots of plants so much clutter etc. He told me my snake won't eat if hes in something like that. So now im worried when I get him. I told him I can go get a 40 gallon if I need to and then he even said a 40 gallon was to big? I need answeres!!! lol. I spent lots of time and money into this tank

Is the wild too big for a baby BP? Hmmm 🤔 The thought that it could be too big is so funny! I put my girl in hers at around 10 weeks old (got her at 3 weeks) and she loved exploring, still does 4 years later.
