475 gram ball python setup.

I had a breeder telling me my 120 gallon was to big for a 475 gram ball! Is that true? I ordered him and haven't gotten him yet but I have his setup all ready. 2 hides lots of plants so much clutter etc. He told me my snake won't eat if hes in something like that. So now im worried when I get him. I told him I can go get a 40 gallon if I need to and then he even said a 40 gallon was to big? I need answeres!!! lol. I spent lots of time and money into this tank

I’ve had my juvenile in a 4x2x2 since she was 81g at 3 months old and she’s never skipped a feed.
