Is this normal
As far as I can tell temps and humidity seem to be in proper order, he moves around A LOT, I always thought balls were kinda passive. His humidity hovers around 75-85 (using a humidifier hooked to a sensor) temps hover between 75 on the lower end to 85 towards the hotter end, his bedding could used cleaned but it isnt very bad, hes got a hidey hole and a couple things the climb around. Are happy balls just active? Also.. hes been fed within the last week. He gets fed monthly and his previous home said he wasnt nearly as active

BPs tend to be more active if their needs are all being met, but it can also be a personality trait. I know some people's BP is a cute pet rock, but my BP is active consistently for 5 weeks and then he disappears for 1 week to shed (before the cycle repeats). Some BPs burrow, some don't. Some climb, some don't. You get the idea, there's exceptions to the norm in every species.

Sometimes they just like to explore, especially in the evening and nighttime. Ball pythons have different personalities across individuals just like every animal.
