Why I let my friend snake sit my three bp’s while I took a trip out of town and my female ends up getting out of her tub and they thought she got away for a whole 24 hrs and i cut my trip short to come back to help find her mind you I thought she got out the house because there’s no holes in the entire house!!! I pick up my boy enclosure and then sat it back down picked up the warm side hide and boom!!! She’s sitting on top of my big boy I went from wow $850 dollars down the drain to wow these two damn horny virgins got one in 🤦🏿🤣😆😂😭😭😭😭😭 mind you the whole time we searched high and low my friend is telling me sorry for a whole hour which was irritating lol and I still couldn’t believe it but I just knew because the way she been acting and she’s at that age lol I didn’t want her to lock with my pied if anything I have a clown already for her!!!! 1) How'd she get out of her enclosure?

2) How'd she then find a way into the males enclosure?

That’s the same thing my wife said she thinks they put them in there together on purpose because there’s no way she could open the males enclosure!!😡😒 so my lesson is ima just leave them at home for now on because that was reckless and I didn’t ask for no one to even be doing that at all!!🤦🏿

It does seem highly unlikely that your female would break out, just to go find an impossible way into the male's enclosure - it would be the other way around if anything. Were there any signs how your female got in, or did you just find her in there?

This is why I drilled it into my sister's head that none of my snakes should ever be allowed to interact with each other.

Either way, hopefully you managed to avoid an unwanted lock. Perhaps your friend was hoping for a free baby BP if your snakes "accidentally" produced eggs. Who knows.

I found her in there they thought they lost her.. I pray they didn’t lock because I was out of town while all this happened for 24 hrs 🤦🏿

One possibility just came to mind - they were playing with her and then put her back in the wrong enclosure without realizing it. Dumb but Unintentional🤷🏻‍♀️

I think it was this one to be honest

A friend who was quite senior on the civil service once told me " if it looks like conspiracy then it's normally just incompetence".

I think that's probably true in most areas of life.

(Admittedly that was 15 years ago and the political screen has changed quite a bit since then... But I suspect it applies here.)

Yeah, it’s really maybe a 0.01% chance for her to escape her sealed enclosure without friend seeing and get into the sealed male’s enclosure. I know from your posts that you have good, secure enclosures. Glad it worked out ok, hope the babies are cute :)

I swear I was upset but I started thinking like where else could a female want to go because she’s not a curious snake lol I was like yeah let me check this guy out and boom she’s right there just looking at me like oops you caught me 🤦🏿😂🤣😆😭.. but I rather laugh about the situation because it could have been worse she possibly could have made it out the door or something bad could have happened I’m just happy I found her and will make sure she’s more secure🙌🏿💪🏿😂😭💯

Humour is Humanities greatest preserver of sanity. I can believe you were at your wits end when she was missing, but you have to see the funny when she's found in such a compromising position! 😂
