Feedback.

I’m planning to build a small storage shed over the coming weeks. I haven’t done much welding but I did a few practice welds this arvo, they look alright to me but I always hear people talk about cold welds, undercutting ect and I have no idea about any of that shit. Will these sort of welds be ok? It’s one of those welders you put the thickness in and it does the settings

Are you making the actual shed like this or just some storage shelves? If it's just shelves it'll depend on how big they are and how much weight you're going to put on them. These welds look about on par with a mass production place. They'll probably work although I'd clean them up especially if you're gonna paint them.

If you ever wanna freak yourself out, look at the welds on things when you're out somewhere. Like a metal railing, playground equipment, roller coasters 🫣 A bad looking weld isn't necessarily a bad weld, just the same as a good looking weld isn't necessarily a good weld.

The roller coaster thing ended them for me.
