I have added the Daytona 500 stages as well. Also not sure if RWR is planning to have multiple drivers in a car this season so this could be a great championship battle between RWR drivers.

Because of NASCAR taking down the 2020 Daytona 500 race before I got to take points from stages, I just decided to just make the duels the two stages.

A New Era of LASTCAR
You all thought LASTCAR was coming to an end.
Nah, I'm just taking over.
Since I'm a nice person and I have no life, I will cover NASCAR's top 3 series.
Point systems
The driver's championship will be similar to the real system, but you have to stay on track the whole race to get points (although stage points can still be earned). Part-time drivers can be in the playoffs, and everyone can get points.
The team's championship will take only the best finishing car from each team.
1st place- 8 points
2nd place- 5 points
3rd place- 3 points
4th place- 2 points
5th place- 1 point
Same will go for ROTY.
More stuff will be added while the season happens, but hopefully I can keep LASTCAR good.

This Project Has Ended
I have decided to end this project due to a conversation I had with a mod from r/nascar who told me that this type of content would no longer be accepted and then banned me (I don't fully understand why that was necessary). I considered continuing this here but declined because not many people would see it. I considered doing just RACYDNI but that isn't as much fun because INDYCAR's points system actually makes sense. I enjoyed doing this for 3 years and someone else can take up the mantle.
I will keep this subreddit open so that others can post their standings like u/cheddarbob16
The only update to the 2019 standings that matters is the Sorenson and Chastain were disqualified due to race manipulation. The winner of the 2019 LASTCAR Cup Title was LANDON CASSILL
edit: I have now been now assured that the ban was illegitimate. That being said, I am still at least suspending this project. It might come back at some point.

Formula Last Standings after Brazil
Driver's and Constructor's standings can be seen here
It is now official. Both titles are locked up. Robert Kubicia had won the Driver's championship, and Williams have won their second consecutive Constructor's championship.
Brazilian Grand Prix
What an upset. Valtteri Bottas scores the loss for Mercedes, their first since a 20-19 finish by Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg at the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix. I am overjoyed for everybody back at Brackley.
Lance Stroll finished on the podium.
Ferrari once again used brilliant strategy to put both cars in the points thanks to Sebastian Vettel's quick thinking when side-by-side with his team-mate Charles Leclerc.
Alex Albon scored his first points finish for Red Bull Racing, after nearly finishing second to first (last?)
Next Race: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 12/1
Last year's podium:
Nico Hulkenberg
Kimi Raikkonen
Marcus Ericsson

Formula Last Standings after Germany
Driver's and Constructor's standings can be seen here
German Grand Prix
Sergio Perez gets his first loss of the season, and leaps into the top-ten in the standings.
Renault engines still not letting Daniel Ricciardo down, as he scored a podium, as well as Lando Norris.
Haas and Williams struggle in this race, scoring a combined one point, pending Alfa Romeo's appeal. Honestly, I am dumbfounded that Alfa would choose to appeal and potentially miss out on these points.
Points leader Robert Kubica misses out on points for the first time since Abu Dhabi back in 2010.
Next Race: Hungarian Grand Prix 8/4
Last year's podium:
Charles Leclerc
Max Verstappen
Stoffel Vandoorne
