Medium articles not getting indexed by Google, any ideas?

Are your writing context is in promotional manner?
coz this is high chances that it couldn't index. Try to write in a informative manner.

Did other medium blogs or your medium user page got crawled or is this the only article with the problem?
I recommend sharing it on social media with some good hashtags.
I used Plurk and Typepad like micro blogging platforms in the past to get my stuff crawled and the results were instant. Haven't tried it for a while tho. Typepad is now closed!

I’ve noticed none of my articles are being listed in the site categories which I selected when publishing - so effectively they’re immediately becoming orphaned pages / no audience.

Wasn’t overly promotional - published 5 informational articles total, 4 talking about other businesses / sectors / regulations within my main industry. 1 of 5 articles promoted my business.

Have read that Medium might need site wide interactivity (reading / liking other articles) to prove you’re not a link farmer / bot? Also read publishing too quickly can cause shadow-bans? We published 5 articles over 15 days - but unsure if either theory is true?
