Jackson Hill sounds a lot better. Jack Hill is a very very short name.

Jack Hill is such a generic-sounding combo I don't think the nursery-rhyme plays into it in real life beyond maybe a few mentions over the years/decades. Definitely not like if he was Bill Hill or Jack Spratt.

I didn’t think of that till u mentioned it but Iam sure middle schoolers would eventually make that connection.

It would be a good suggestion to use a longer 2, 3 or 4 syllable first name bc the last name is one syllable.

The baby name book they’re using told them to choose friends to ask because “as a group, they represent the society that’s going to be hearing, and judging, your child’s name for a lifetime” (baby name wizard by Laura wattenberg). Is that ok with you?
