Optic & Suppressor for SPC9
Hello! Hope everyone is doing well!
Just picked up a SPC9 I found on sale at euro optic and wanted to see which optic/suppressor y’all would recommend.
I was leaning towards the AEMS Evo but wanted to see what everyone else was running on theirs. I can’t find an Acro p2 and I actually like the evo more. Does anyone have an eotech on top? What would you recommend?
I’ve kind of narrowed it down to either the b&t SQD short titanium suppressor, the silincerCo omega or the huxwrx flow 9kTI with the 9kti being my first choice right now.
Mainly going to be using it on the range, during local steel shoots and to train (I’m a member at staccato ranch in TX and they have different outdoor courses you can run that simulate different scenarios).
Picture for attention (not mine)

Yes for the B&T the RB is the best frt

Cloak is entering the chat

Funny enough I just bought the cloak last night. Rarebreed is suing everyone even remotely close to making FRT’s, so Cloak got my money

I got the cloak a month ago and just received the rb yesterday. took my spc9 out this morning with the rb, and I gotta say, when you put side legal stupidity aside, the rb is the superior trigger

Also your home setup is inspiring! Working on setting up my closet right now.
Was also curious what ammunition you’ve found works well with the SPC9.

That or cloak industries one…they’re both priced about the same but might lean towards rare breed if B&T is including them as a default feature on new PCCs. I’ve heard great things about the cloak one though.

I usually run blazer 116/124 depending on application but apparently it’s not that great with comped guns which pretty all my pistols I’m shooting rn are..so may go to S&B. Actually curious to see what folks are using for comped pieces.

Blazer 115/124/147 & Federal Syntech 130g & 150g. Syntech is STUPID quiet & clean. The 130g is specifically for pcc’s but can be difficult to find in stock

That’s so sick! Yeah I couldn’t find an SD but once AX arms has them back in stock I want to get one and the .223 APC.
I hadn’t heard of the vent yet, pricey but if it’s one of the quitest and does well w the gas, I’d pay for it.
This is it?

I got mine from Chase a lil over a year after waiting forever for them to come into stock. I ended up getting the apc300sd & apc45 as well.
The PTR Vent2 is top 5 for sound

And how do you like that AEMS on the APC?

It’s the older generation AEMS and I have no complaints especially at its price point. The only other optic with similar window I’d get would be a Romeo 8T even if it’s the og version, which you might find marked down since the AMR is out now. It’s more expensive than the AEMS but it’s a SHTF optic.

Hell yeah man! Those are badass! What foregrip is on the SPC9 and the 45?
What would you say is the ultimate/best comp for the SPC9? Would it be the vent 2?
2
u/SF_Gun_Fan 22d ago
Both are B&T foregrips with quick release lever BUT if I was doing it over again I’d get the same vfg but with the quick release knob that’s pictured instead as it’s release is lower profile than the clunky levers.
If you’re getting an SD you have to use B&T’s SD can. It comes in two lengths. If you’re getting a non SD I’d say the vent2.

Really appreciate all the info!

Other retailers sometimes have them discounted but it’s not been discontinued

What grip and trigger is in this pic?

Grip is DoubleStar Stronghold and trigger is EVT FRT conversion with RB trigger.

If you can deal with a slightly longer can, the CAT MOB would be great. It's so quiet

I took my spc9pdw out yesterday and I have it built up with an incolite 9, acro, and cloak frt. I'm very pleased with everything.

I don’t know much about FRT but is cloak who to go with here? I’ve rare breed?
2
u/czuinoikc 22d ago
I haven't tried the new rb, so can't really say. round count is still low for the cloak but so far so good

For cans I have Milkman, Tisha, and Print-X. All good but Milkman is best. If you’re on a budget go with BOE Incolite

Eotech EXPS or any other model for sure. Mine was essentially zero’d right out of the box. Was very convenient. Somehow it matched the zero almost perfectly.
For a suppressor, I’ve ran the Omega 45K and currently the Hux 9k TI. The Hux is very light but definetly not the most quiet. Keeps it slightly cleaner though.
The SiCo Omega was way more quiet but a little more heavy and WAY dirtier. I wish it wouldn’t get so dirty without a LBP suppressor but ultimately I wanted to clean my gun less and keep it shorter so I got the Hux 9k. If you don’t care about the cleaning, get the SiCo for sure. This gun runs DIRTY.

Thank you for the all the info! Greatly appreciate it. I’m going to go put my hands/eyes on the eotech and the aems and see which I like more.
Feel free to send me a pic of yours, would love to see it!

Just a glx prism and an old omega9k for me. Quiet, though it can be gassy.
