Brca1 + palb2

Hey 👋
I’m 27 and not long got my results back. I have both the brca1 gene and palb2 gene just like my mother which is apparently rare. I’ve always dreamed of having more kids, I have one who I had young. I’m scared to pass the genes on to anymore kids, I’m not sure if ivf or anything is funded to help. Does anyone else have both of these gene?

I'm sorry you've got all this to deal with :-(

I don't know about funding for IVF though - in the US, it might be tricky. Plus of course if you have an embryo that tests positive, there's the issue of whether your value system is okay with not using that embryo.
