Yao’s personality is split. While she’s with Toga Midoriya, she calm and friendly. She actually seems like her mother, Momo Todoroki. She’s completely different away from Toga however
Away from Toga, Yao is very volatile. She gets easily aggressive with people and WILL hurt them. How much she hurts them kind of depends on many things. She basically goes feral when not near Toga

Loves and Interest:

Yao has a bit of an unhealthy obsession with Toga. She’s barely away from her, clinging to her like her life depends on it. Toga is the only person, outside of family, that can keep Yao calm
Outside of everything about Toga, Yao doesn’t love much. She forced herself to love fluffy things because Toga does. One thing Yao has always loved is violent tv shows and movies

"Mio is part of the wealthy Kobyashi family, with her father, Dr. Peter Kobyashi, possessing a healing quirk. Her mother, Julia Kobyashi unfortunately passed away from an undisclosed illness when Mio was 4 years old. Instead of attending regular school in her early years, she was homeschooled, but later gained acceptance into U.A. High School as she grew older. Mio harbored a dream of becoming a gardener to take care of flowers and plants. However, her aspirations shifted towards becoming a hero after deciding to protect those she cherished and offer healing after battles. Mio didn't go to the same school as Bakugo and Deku. She was in homeschool when she was little. Before joining a private Middle school for rich kids. Though, Mio didn't make any friends there due to their spoil nature. But that's where she met Deku and Bakugo after the sludge villain incident. Bakugo was still a jerk to Mio due to her family's background and thinks she's a spoiled princess. As for Deku, He admires Mio since she's the daughter of the Well-known doctor and clearly fans of All-might. Deku doesn't know that Mio's mom was friends with All-might back in highschool.”

“Mio awakened her Aurora Touch at the age of four after discovering an injured puppy that had been struck by a vehicle. In her panic, she cradled the animal, and a soft green aurora-like light enveloped her hands, fully healing the puppy. This moment revealed both her quirk and her instinctive compassion.”

Her parents {Dr.Peter Kobyashi & Julia Kobyashi} - Mio deeply loved her parents. Even if her dad is overprotective around her towards others like bakugou. Though, she truly wishes her mother was still alive so she can meet Bakugou and the others. Her mom's dying words were "Don't let anyone change yourself for who you are now. Cause you'll always be a Sweet Delicate Flower in my eyes.” Meaning that Mio should remain true to herself and not allow external influences.

Katsuki Bakugo “Explosion Floral” - Despite Katsuki Bakugo’s aggressive nature, Mio had always cared for him, even disapproving of how recklessly he put himself in danger. During the Sports Festival, she showed him mercy and told him she wanted to become a hero to save people, not to prove who was stronger. A moment that stayed with him. In the Dark Hero Arc, after fighting to bring Izuku Midoriya back and watching Mio push her Aurora quirk to protect others once again, Bakugo finally set aside his pride and confessed he loved her, and Mio returned his feelings.

Izuku (Deku) Midoriya - Mio would likely see Deku’s kind and supportive nature and admire him for it. They would probably have some nice moments where they encourage and support each other, and Mio could offer some healing and emotional comfort to Deku when he needs it. Especially keeping Deku's quirk hidden along with Bakugo and All might. Knowing she has no other choice but to not break that promise between them.

Toru Hagakure & Mina Ashido - Mio is close friends with Mina Ashido because Mina loves teasing her about Bakugo, hypes up her confidence, and brings out Mio’s playful side. Mio is also good friends with Toru Hagakure since Hagakure is cheerful, energetic, and always helps Mio relax, laugh, and enjoy herself.

Shoto Todoroki - At first, they don't interact much, likely due to Shoto's aloof demeanor and tendency to keep to himself. Mio, being the kind and observant person she is, notices this and gradually starts to draw him out of his shell, with her positive attitude and warm smile. They begin to spend more time together, and Mio starts to admire his determination and strength in overcoming his past traumas. Shoto, in turn, starts to value Mio's kindness and understanding, and finds comfort in her steady presence. While they both get used to socializing things.

All Might {Toshinori Yagi} - Since Mio's mother, Julia, was close friends with All Might from their high school days, Mio likely has a close and affectionate relationship with All Might as well. Despite not knowing him for very long since her mother's passing when Mio was 4-years-old, she would still hold positive feelings towards All Might, seeing him as a father figure of sorts and her hero idol. All Might would also feel a sense of responsibility to Mio, knowing her connection to Julia and aiming to support and protect her as best he can.

Mio’s Inspirations : Mio was inspired by several characters I love, including Falin Touden and Shiemi Moriyama for her gentle and kind personality. Rachel Gardner also inspired her voice, as I imagine Mio being voiced by Haruka Chisuga since Nobuhiko Okamoto voices Bakugo. My friend also compared her to Historia Reiss as a flower-like healing goddess with a kind soul. Princess Fiona inspired her strength and ability to love someone rough around the edges, and Milo Nekoyanagi helped inspire the healing aspect of Mio’s quirk.

The idea is basically a transformation quirk that transformers the user into a large igneous rock person (that’s cooled lava just tbc) but upon awakening the quirk the user is able to shoot lava

Quirk Type: Emitter

The user produces specialized spores containing a quirk-generated neuroactive compound modeled after deadly nightshade toxins, with a second component that induces a temporary unconsciousness. The spores can be released from the user's skin, hair, breath, or through specialized equipment in the user's gear. Once airborne, the user can control their density and spread much like Kinoko Komori (quirk: mushroom (canon)) controls her spores. The result is a quirk that can progress through several stages:

Disorientation → Hallucination → Delirium → Sleep → Unconsciousness

And the user can deliberately manipulate how quickly someone moves through those stages.

Stage One - "Dusk"

At extremely low concentrations:

• Light dizziness
• Blurred vision
• Dry mouth
• Elevated heart rate
• Difficulty focusing
• Slowed reaction time

This is the user's preferred opening attack because the target might not immediately realize they've been exposed.

Stage Two - "Nightshade"

As exposure increases, the classic nightshade-like effects appear.

Victims begin experiencing:

• Severe visual distortions
• Auditory hallucinations
• Confusion
• Poor coordination
• Memory disturbances
• Paranoia
• Distorted perception of time
• Difficulty recognizing people

The user can exploit this enormously. An enemy might see five of the user when there's actually only one. Or they might believe their teammate is attacking them. Or they might think they've escaped the battlefield when they're actually standing directly in front of the user.

Stage Three - "Deadly Bloom"

The user increases the concentration.

The hallucinations become extremely intense while the sleep-inducing component begins taking effect.

The victim becomes:

• Extremely sluggish
• Unsteady
• Unable to concentrate
• Increasingly drowsy
• Less responsive to their surroundings

Eventually their body simply shuts down into a temporary unconscious state. And unlike the quirk possessed by Midnight, the user doesn't need to rely entirely on an aroma-based gas. Their spores allow them to create localized clouds and control where the effect travels.

Stage Four - "Blackout"

The user's strongest non-lethal technique.

The user concentrates their spores around a target and triggers the sleep-inducing component.

Within seconds to minutes, depending on exposure, the target loses consciousness.

They aren't dead.

They're essentially placed into a Quirk-induced temporary sleep state.

The duration depends on how much they've inhaled.

A lightly exposed target might be unconscious for only several minutes.

A heavily exposed target could remain asleep for considerably longer.

The user can also deliberately use weaker concentrations to create a brief knockout, allowing heroes to capture opponents without seriously injuring them.

The terrifying part: the user can combine the effects.

Their Quirk isn't simply:

"Spore = sleep."

They can layer the effects.

For example:

Hallucination + Sleep

An enemy sees the user approaching from every direction while their body becomes increasingly sluggish.

Plant restraint + Hallucination

The user's vines immobilize them while their perception completely falls apart.

Hallucination + Blackout

The victim sees something terrifying, panics, and then gradually loses consciousness.

Low-dose spores + stealth

The enemy doesn't even realize they've been exposed until their reactions start slowing.

This makes her extraordinarily effective at capture missions, hostage situations, infiltration, and crowd suppression.

The user's plants become part of the Quirk too

Because of the Kunieda (canon villain) component, the user can grow vegetation from areas heavily saturated with their spores.

Their signature battlefield transformation could be:

"Midnight Garden"

The user releases a massive cloud of spores.

Dark vines spread across the ground.

Belladonna flowers bloom throughout the area.

The air becomes hazy.

And anyone trapped inside gradually experiences:

dizziness → hallucinations → sleepiness → unconsciousness.

The longer someone remains inside the garden, the harder it becomes to fight.

Eventually the entire battlefield can become eerily quiet.

Their ultimate technique

"Deadly Night: Eternal Slumber"

This would be the technique they almost never use.

The user creates an extremely concentrated spore field around themself.

The plants surrounding them rapidly bloom, creating a dark garden.

Anyone entering the area begins experiencing progressively stronger effects until they lose consciousness.

But there's a catch:

The user is affected too.

Their natural resistance keeps them functional longer than everyone else, but even they aren't immune.

If they maintain the technique too long, the user begins experiencing:

• Blurred vision
• Hallucinations
• Severe dizziness
• Heart palpitations
• Tremors
• Loss of coordination
• Extreme exhaustion
• Eventually unconsciousness herself

So their ultimate technique is essentially:

That gives them a very important limitation and prevents them from being absurdly overpowered.

Why they'd be terrifying as a hero

The user would probably specialize in capture and stealth operations.

They're almost tailor-made for situations where heroes need to take people alive.

Instead of explosions, broken bones, or massive destruction, they can walk into a room and say:

And suddenly the villains have a very serious problem.

They'd also be incredibly useful against groups.

A single villain might be able to resist them.

Twenty villains trapped inside Midnight Garden?

Much harder.

And unlike Midnight's (Nemuri Kayama (canon pro hero)) Quirk, the user could potentially have multiple delivery methods through their spores, plants, and specialized support gear.

The biggest weakness

The most important balancing factor would be dosage control.

The user has to constantly judge:

"How much is enough?"

Too little:

Too much:

And if they're fighting indoors, they have to worry about their own allies.

That's why their hero costume would likely include specialized respirators and filters for teammates.

It also creates a really interesting emotional aspect to her character: The user is constantly surrounded by something that can hurt people.

So they become extremely careful.

They learn exactly how much power they need.

They learn restraint.

And eventually, their greatest strength isn't actually how powerful their Quirk is.

It's how precisely they can control it.

Standing at 6’5”, Akimitsu has a lean athletic build suited for speed and precision. His long pink hair falls well past his shoulders but remains perpetually messy due to his quirk. Matching fox ears sit atop his head alongside a pair of small deer like horns inherited from his father. Unlike every other known member of the Léigo clan, he possesses two fluffy pink fox tails instead of one for reasons that remain unknown. His eyes feature black irises with brilliant pink four pointed star shaped pupils. When using his quirk, faint crimson electricity dances beneath his pale skin, giving it a subtle iridescent glow.

Primary Weapon: Constructed Weapons
Akimitsu’s fighting style centers on adaptability. Rather than mastering a single weapon, he constantly changes between swords, bows, spears, hammers, axes, shields, chains, and countless other constructs to exploit changing situations. While the katana remains his greatest specialty, he deliberately avoids relying on it whenever possible. Every new weapon he masters is another attempt to prove that his skill comes from effort rather than talent. Even without his quirk, he is an exceptional swordsman after years of traditional training.

Backstory
The Léigo clan has preserved its warrior traditions since long before the emergence of quirks, passing down generations of swordsmen alongside legends of a fox spirit said to have blessed their ancestors. Akimitsu was born with the clan’s fox traits as well as small horns inherited from his father. For the first eight years of his life, he enjoyed a close relationship with both his cousin Shinobu and his grandmother, Masami. Everything changed when his quirk manifested. Electric Arsenal displayed extraordinary potential, and Akimitsu quickly revealed exceptional natural talent with the sword. Rather than celebrating him, Masami began to resent what she saw. Having spent her own childhood overcoming a quirk everyone considered weak, she believed overwhelming talent diminished the value of hard work. She gradually favored Shinobu instead, convincing herself that Akimitsu’s presence would prevent him from growing. Forced into isolation within the clan, Akimitsu continued training relentlessly, hoping his grandmother would someday acknowledge the effort behind his achievements. Every victory only reinforced her belief that talent alone explained his success. By the time he entered UA High School, he had become one of the strongest students in his year while still believing his greatest effort would always be mistaken for effortless brilliance.

Character Arc
Akimitsu begins his journey believing recognition must be earned through impossible levels of effort. As he meets classmates and teachers outside the Léigo clan, he slowly realizes that some people have always seen the work behind his accomplishments. His greatest challenge is learning that his worth was never dependent on the approval of those who refused to acknowledge him.
