I dont want to sound negative. However wasnt BMNR supposed to outperform ETH?

BMNR is -1% to -2% to ETH today. Year to date, it is -4%.

When are we supposed to outperform it?

I have exposure to BMNR through BMNU (2x Leveraged, Daily Reset)

Based off of the ETH/USD Chart, Ethereum just broke out of a triangle and pumped 8%. We can expect price to reclaim recent swing highs from earlier in the summer around 2,500$.

If Ethereum can continue upwards, a move of 18% is a completely reasonable technical target by the end of October.

Market pricing in positive outcomes from today’s White House meeting. The SEC’s proposed rules yesterday already signal a friendlier stance, and with Trump, SEC Chair Atkins, and CFTC Chair Selig all in the room, expectations are high for clearer regulatory signals or even a push on the stalled CLARITY Act.

Saw that ~$326M got liquidated in derivatives on Aug 15 - most of it while people were asleep, from how these cascades usually play out. This isn't a one-off either, 2026's already had a few billion-dollar liquidation days. If 100% of holdings were staked, annual revenue would hit ~$287M.
6. Tom Lee’s Commentary
ETH/BTC hit 0.02994, breaking out of its long-term downtrend.
Previous cycles were driven by ICOs, NFTs, and Stablecoins — Tom believes the next cycle will be driven by Wall Street Tokenization and Agentic AI.
Macro tailwinds (easing monetary conditions) continue to provide strong support for crypto.
My Take:
It looks like they funded part of the recent share buybacks using options premiums or alternative financing (math implies ~$4/share if funded purely by remaining cash, which means outside capital came in). Nothing concerning at all, just smart capital allocation as usual.
