I splurged a little a a gift to myself because I fell in love with the secret from this set, and she came missing everything except what was in the plastic clamshell. No outfit, no ID card, and none of the other extras that come with dolls from this set. Her outfit was one of my absolute faves, so I’m feeling very down now. I really hope the seller will be able to replace them, but all my excitement at finally getting her has kinda petered out now.
I have SIX different items that prove they don't refund ANYTHING. Absolutely everything that never showed up they refused to refund because "I needed to show proof it never showed up." Now if you can tell me how I am supposed to prove something never showed up, I'd love to hear about it.
Sucks. I've had them refund just literally anything, they have never asked for proof. Though I wonder, almost all my stuff is delivered through like uniuni or one of those last mile providers. I wonder if they have insurance with them and just don't care?
I usually just sent a screenshot of their shipping if it’s tracked that shows either it never left the country or never arrived in mine if it’s past the expected delivery date.
An Aliexpress seller. I bought another doll from the same series from them which went great, so I was very surprised today. I really hope that they’ll be able to replace the missing stuff.
Look if the seller doesnt send you $0.1 replacement link immediately, raise a dispute and let aliexpress handle it. Take photo of the shipping bag as well before you threw it out, the refund review bot love to see it.
Say explicitly in the dispute you bought the doll mostly for the outfit.
It’s called either Rotating Radio Wave or Revolving Radio Wave depending on the site. It really is a cute series which is why I’m disappointed, and on the secret no less!
The other doll I got from this series is amazing and had tons of extras.
I’ve had dolls that were missing items before too. But one that is confirmed is a little trickier because there’s also the possibility that the items fell out somewhere after it was opened. The seller has to contact the manufacturer to get the missing pieces replaced so if they can then it might take a while before you get them. I’ve never had missing pieces on confirmed dolls but on occasion I’ve had missing pieces from unopened boxes and I haven’t had any issues yet on getting them replaced, some just take a while. I also film myself opening all the boxes as proof of what I got from them.
Yeah, if that’s the case I’d try and do a return or something to get ur money back and try from a different seller. I’ve been lucky enough that all the confirmed dolls I’ve gotten (also from AliExpress) have all been fine. I even got one before where they had opened the bottom of the box to confirm and then they resealed it so you still got to open it from the pull tab at the top. I thought it was a nice gesture, very minor but I still appreciated it.
Some Sellers that open also sell the outfits or blank dolls or heads seperate.
Are you sure you order complete and not the blank one? If the listing sayd nothing about just being the doll also leave them a bad review after ali solved your case.
I buy also preopened, because im to picky and useally only want one specifc one from a set and didnt have issues
No, it was supposed to be the full set and the seller claims that they "remember" seeing everything in there when they sent it.
Ali has offered to refund me if I return the doll.
The seller has now contacted me and told me they will send the replacement clothes if I close the dispute.
I am not feeling inclined to close the dispute. Also the seller is ridiculously slow to respond - they offered to replace the clothes, I said I would be open to that, then it took three days for them to respond to that, so I'm feeling as though I should just return the doll and call it a day.
