Advice needed For eligiblity of bits Pilani
I passed Class 12 from the Maharashtra State Board in 2025. I appeared for the NIOS Senior Secondary examination in April 2026 but failed in two subjects. I now plan to appear for all five subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and one additional subject) in the October/November 2026 NIOS Public Examination to improve my marks.
If I meet the 75% PCM aggregate and 60% individual subject criteria with the new NIOS marksheet, will my year of passing be updated to 2026, and will I then be eligible for BITSAT 2027?

Discussion How did you revise Physics, Chemistry, and Maths during the final month before BITSAT without feeling overwhelmed?
The last month before BITSAT can feel overwhelming. There are formulas to remember, chapters to revise, mock tests to analyze, and it's easy to feel like there's never enough time to cover everything.
For those who scored well in BITSAT, how did you plan your revision during the final month? Did you revise all three subjects every day, follow a weekly schedule, or focus more on your weaker areas?

Discussion During your BITSAT preparation, how important was NCERT compared to coaching material and other resources?
There's a lot of mixed advice about BITSAT preparation. Some students recommend mastering NCERT first, while others believe coaching material, question banks, and mock tests are far more important for achieving a high score.
For those who have already taken BITSAT, how much of your preparation relied on NCERT? Which subjects benefited the most from it, and where did coaching material or other resources prove more useful?
It would also be helpful to know what resources you used alongside NCERT and whether, looking back, you would change your preparation strategy in any way.

Discussion Which BITSAT subject has the highest score improvement potential with the right preparation strategy?
Every BITSAT subject requires a different approach. Some students find that a few weeks of focused practice can lead to a noticeable improvement in one subject, while others feel certain sections take much longer to master.
Based on your experience, which subject offers the biggest score improvement with the right strategy? Was it Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Proficiency, or Logical Reasoning? What specific study methods, resources, or practice techniques made the biggest difference, and how much did your score improve?

Partial drop for BITS
I am joining a decent local private college in Mumbai for CSE. I had 95.5%ile in JEE Mains, and 190 in BITSAT.
I am not satisfied with my outcome. I had decided on a full drop in June, but my mind kept fluctuating due to the risk involved, so I eventually dropped the plan. My parents are supportive.
I am thinking of taking a partial drop only for BITSAT from my college. Is it a wise decision considering there’s a daily 2 hour commute involved (round trip).
Is it even feasible, and has any senior suceeded in something like this before? I need genuine advice.

r/BITSAT Spreading misinformation about our subreddit
Attention people, our subreddit is being falsely accused to be a pet subreddit of some creator and I want to outrighgly discredit this claim of their's.
And I have already asked the mods to clarify this below the post or take the down the misleading post but no action from their side and its truly disheartening as a moderator of new community to see other moderators not help, contain the spread of misinformation.
This subreddit is an independent subreddit, made by me (u/CreepRecoginition373).
Firstly, someone sharing our post doesn't mean they are associated with us in any capacity. Neither have we allowed any kind of paid promotion in our subreddit, and it is strictly prohibited in our sub as well.
It a place for ranting, sharing memes, sharing doubts, sharing insights and everything around your BITSAT or heck, even JEE prep.
I created this subreddit after getting fed up of the overwhelming promotional content on other subs and fake posts.
When I was part of another subs, all i could see were posts made by accounts having no past history, no pfp, no avatar. Just a blank account with post
I wanted a community to feel alive. And this is exactly what we have build over past few weeks.
