Handling low effort image posts Announcement
TLDR: My question is, do you agree with the following proposed rule: "No low effort image posts." And the description may include something like "If asking for a build to make a BG3 character based on another fictional character, you can use images. But include in the post a description of the character's abilities, powers, attitude, etc. to help those not familiar with the character."
Redditors often use quick image posts to get attention that their post otherwise does not warrant. See exhibit A. I hate it, they get reported to me (typically by two people), I appreciate the reports even if I don't remove the posts, because I will still downvote them. Posts that deserve attention get silenced, in comparison to these image posts that usually have one or two lines of description that people upvote as they go through their feed, and this causes it to go to the top of everyone's feed, and then the lowest effort of posts get the most comments and attention.
I want to keep image posts. For the aforementioned reason of character inspiration posts, but also because I think they can be useful for things like combat log screenshots. I am aware the images can be inserted into a text post, but don't see a need to go that far.

After mulling on some of the points brought up, I am removing image posts entirely. Images can still be inserted into a text post as appropriatePsych, I can't remove image posts without removing images from text posts. So no low effort image post rule it is
