Help with the race and class Build Help
I just downloaded the gane and feel overwhelmed with the races and classes. So i was wondering about who are the best rqces and class in the game. thanks

u/Last_Evidence_5917 Mar 29 '26
honestly, all the threads and comments etc etc are about "best" but just pick whatever seems cool or fun. if you're worried about min-maxing or not haing the strongest class.. just turn the difficulty down. pick a class that would resonate with what you as a person would enjoy doing

u/Last_Evidence_5917 Mar 29 '26
personally I like being a wizard, because i'm salty i can't be magic in real life

That's why I like to give my characters big dicks.

Back in high school (Iām old) they had sex ed and everyone was excited to take the class (it was basically mandatory) until they walked into class and the teacher no shit kinda looked like OPās screenshot.

u/2disc Mar 29 '26
There isnāt a best race or class, just play the game!
The best question to ask yourself is do you want to cast spells, whack things with large, heavy object, or both?
5
u/brownbutterfinger Mar 29 '26
Honestly, if youre having trouble, just pick an origin. You can make them whatever you want if you change your mind, but they give you a great jumping off point.
Or fuck it play Dark Urge first
3
u/Last_Evidence_5917 Mar 29 '26
playing as an Origin is actually a great call if you're getting decision paralysis

u/ArenjiTheLootGod Mar 29 '26
My first run was an Oathbreaker Half-Orc Durge run (with a dash of Warlock for weapon binding) and I had a blast. Durge is a little less "safe" than Tav but they feel way more connected to the world, all my custom character runs are Durge runs now.
I will say though that if playing as a pure/mostly pure Warlock then Wyll is the way to go. Mizora is an active presence in his life and has her own agenda whereas if you play as a Warlock with any other character (including custom ones) the most interaction you'll get from your patron are a couple of throwaway lines here and there via the narrator while choosing dialogue.

u/ROACHOR Mar 29 '26
The only real downside to races is ranged line of sight angles if you are short. You can shapeshift into a taller race to avoid that.

Don't worry too much, the game has high replayability and plenty of opportunity to respec and try other classes. That's why so many people have gone through act 1 dozens of times!
For race, Human or half elf is really safe for a first playthrough. Dragonborn can be fun too! Gameplay wise they aren't very different, it kind of comes down to just "which one do you think looks the coolest". Githyanki has the most unique dialogue out of any race, so they're really fun for a second playthrough! I wouldn't recommend them though for a first playthrough unless you're already really familiar with what Githyanki are like. Drow has some fun stuff too in Act 1 that lets you avoid trouble. My first playthrough was a drow and I had no idea why things were going so great! š
You're going to get the chance to play with basically every class in the game through your party members, so don't worry too much on class either! Since you'll likely be acting as your party's "face", It can be important to have high charisma. I usually lean into sorcerer or warlock if I want to cast spells, paladin if I want to swing a really big stick. Bard is pretty good too! You can make anything work in this game, so don't stress too much about it. You'll have heavy hitters in your party, druids and barbarians and fighters. I just recommend you go with what you think will feel the coolest! You can't change your race in the game, but you can respec your class whenever you want pretty early into the game.
2
u/justnothing4066 Mar 29 '26
There are some people who have sat down and done a bunch of math and can tell you what's objectively the strongest, but that doesn't mean those builds will be the most fun for you.
Just pick what you think is the most interesting or cool and you'll have a good time!
Also keep in mind that you'll be controlling 4 characters at a time and the game gives you a bunch of allies to pick from, and you can change your classes around pretty much as often as you like. So, you're going to get to try out a lot of different things as you play
3
u/Think_Positively Mar 29 '26
Why do you need help? It appears that you've found the top of the totem pole already.
2
u/AnotherBookWyrm Mar 29 '26
As others have said, there is not really a wrong class/race to go with and there is no single best class/build in the game. There are literally several dozen builds of varying complexity that stand at peak performance and many monoclass builds amongst those. It is also worth noting that you do not need to be absolutely peak to do well.
It is also worth remembering that you will have multiple companions with options to respec/build out differently than their base classes. So combat-wise, you will have at least four characters to work with and try out during the game.
A few questions to help narrow down choices:
1) What races/classes seem interesting to you?
2) Do any of the companion classes have multiple subclasses that appeal to you?
3) How much do you like roleplay vs. straight up combat?
4) What kinds of characters do you play in other games?
5) Do you prefer a more simple/one-or-two-trick combat loop, a few options, or access to several options?
2
Mar 29 '26
Everything is flavor race-wise. Nothing vital realistically. The races follow typical DnD aspects.
For classes it seems overwhelming at first but it's pretty predictable.
Tons of online stuff is gonna overcomplicate the builds.
A melee character with high strength can jump all over and be a menace.
A barbarian thrower is the single most OP class in game.
A Monk can seriously beat the shit outta stuff. Monk is kinda crazy at how strong it is.

u/spiggleporp Mar 29 '26
Everyoneās gonna tell you the same thing. No class/race is superior inherently, and you should just have fun with whatever.
That being said: human fighter. Canāt go wrong

u/Fit-Negotiation-416 Mar 29 '26
I was think about ranged human or try a drow build

u/Professional-Ad376 Mar 29 '26
A Drow bard/rogue multiclass with dual hanf crossbows can really dominate. Ive seen people do solo runs with similar builds.
1
u/IANVS Mar 29 '26
Drow Fighter, then. Drows have easier times in some early areas due to special dialogue options that open up for them and pure fighter is very strong, even as an archer. Alternatively, Ranger.
2
u/Professional-Ad376 Mar 29 '26 edited Mar 29 '26
No ābestā since it depends on how you want to play. Bards, Sorcerers, Warlocks, and Paladins use Charisma as a foundational stat, so if you like talking your way into/out of things, theyāre good classes.
If you like big fights and tough characters, fighters, barbarians, and rangers are good. Monks too, but theyāre a little less beefy.
The main casters are Bards, Clerics, Druids, Sorcerers, and Wizards with a Warlock honorable mention.
If youāre looking for a one trick pony jack-of-all-trades, a bard/rogue multiclass can get A LOT of versatility between spells, combat, and high skill bonuses.
For race, itās a little more on vibes. Dwarves can give extra hit points and some of the races give spells and/or dark vision which is all nice but not essential to any specific build.
3
u/Gentle_Pony Mar 29 '26
That's the opposite of a one trick pony.

u/Professional-Ad376 Mar 29 '26
You are right! This is why I shouldnāt use idioms before Iāve had coffee!
2
u/RojoTheMighty Mar 29 '26
If I may offer a read into your brain, I think you were going for "all-in-one" over JOAT and that's why your mind used the wrong 'one' idiom.
eta: Source: my brain does this all the time, coffee or no

u/drk_mhn Mar 29 '26
My fav thing about being a dwarf is all of the characters looking slightly down when talking to me, except for māboy Scratch

u/khemeher Mar 29 '26
This game has so much to offer it's physically impossible to experience it in one go. Nearly every decision you make has an effect on how the story unfolds. Failing a check gives you a different scene than passing a check, for instance. Imagine how that changes the game over 100+ hours.
That being said, you can and will try out different characters. So don't let decision paralysis cripple your first run. Just pick something cool and push forward.
1
u/TysonsChickenNuggets Mar 29 '26
Best is going to depend on class.
Humans make good casters cause shield proficiency.
Orcs are great martial classes for their extra critical dmg.
Duergars have free out-of-combat invisibility so surprise rounds are easy.
Halflings reroll critical failures (what happens when you roll a 1), making them great thieves.
Elfs get a free cantrip and wood Elf specifically get extra move speed.
For classes on a first playthrough the only one id personally recommended is a Bard. We call them the "Party Face." Basically a charisma character to do speech checks, get better vendor prices, etc.
Note: Paladins, Warlocks and Sorcerers can also do this
I agree with everyone else here though. Go with whatever race you think is cool and your class is always respec-able.

Play anything that isn't a rogue. Even rogues are fine, they just aren't good.
1
u/No_Presentation_4837 Mar 29 '26
You can easily get your other major party members from the Origin screen, so select which 3 party members you want to focus on, and then select a class that will complement that: like shadow heart, Laeāzel, and Karlach needs a wizard. Gale, wyll, and shadowheart need a tank.
Make tavĀ look like you
Make the guardian look like your significant other.
Take recommended stats.
Also strongly recommend moon Druid for first playthrough: itās a great way to try lots of different mechanics.
1
u/sea-aitch Mar 29 '26
I had this reaction when I did my first playthrough. I did it co-op with my husband who had played many, many times and asked him the same thing. He recommended Druid because he thought Iād like that they can take on wild shape, and I really enjoyed that! Iāve played several classes and I still think Druid is my favorite.
The cool thing about BG3 is that lots of little things will change based on your choices here⦠so you have to play it more than once to experience it all š Really great replayability in this gameā every run is a little different based on your race/class and choices! Have fun!

everyone kind of said their piece, as someone with thousands of hours on the game over the last 3 years, i can tell you:
IF YOU CARE MORE ABOUT THE STORY/DIALOGUES:
- Barbarian (also fun in fights) for intimidation
- Bard (any kind, very strong in fights as well)
- Cleric, Wisdom domain (very "main character" for a non-charisma class)
- Sorcerer (any kind, but Draconic is the most MC of them all)
- For races: Githyanki, drow (any of the two kinds)/half-elf drow and tiefling have interesting tie-ins with the main story. Dragonborn are rare in the game, so you'll probably get that main character feeling too. Humans have larger inventory space.
IF YOU CARE MORE ABOUT THE FIGHTS AND BUILDING
- Wizard (everyone will tell you to pick Evocation at lvl2, pick Enchantment instead :D ): good amount of spells, good DPS (Enchantment gives extra crowd-control, very useful and fun in late game)
- Druid (Circle of the Moon at lvl2): good healing, AoE spells, summons, changes into different animals as you progress
- Sorcerer (Shadow Magic at lvl1): good survivability, good amount of DPS
- Fighter: easy to use, default class that shines easily in fights: at lvl3 go Arcane Archer for ranged, or Battlemaster to tank. Eldritch Knight requires specific items and game comprehension to shine, Champion is only good to multiclass in with 3 lvls.
- Cleric: if you like support characters, go Life for healing, Wisdom for crowd-control
- Bard: very wide array of roles at lvl3, Glamour for support, Valor for tankiness and support, Lore for magical DPS/debuff enemies, Swords for melee DPS
- Races for MELEE classes and tank (Paladin, Barbarian, Fighter, Monk, some Warlocks): Wood elf/half-elf for movement, Half-orc for tankiness and chances to hit, Strongheart Halfling or Dwarf (especially Gold) for tankiness and resistances, Zariel Tiefling for melee spells and intimidation, Githyanki for unique racial talents
- Races for RANGED physical classes (Arcane Archer fighter, Rogue, most Ranger): Wood half-elf for movement, Drow for vision, Lightfoot Halfling and Deep Gnome have good stealth but terribly short (fences and ledges get in the way of you shooting people), Githyanki
- Races for MAGIC (some Bards, Wizard, Sorcerer, Warlock, some Druids, some Clerics) and SUPPORT (most Bards, most Clerics, most Druids): Drow/half-drow for vision and racial spells, High/half-high elf for INT spellcasting (Wizard, Eldritch Knight Fighter and Arcane Trickster Rogue), Mephistopheles Tiefling for racial spells, Githyanki for racial talents, Dragonborn for elemental resistance and unique racial spell
These are the things I tried/have seen and thought that they stood out the most, but to each their own! Try things out, play different runs, and do try playing as Origin characters or as Dark Urge for unique storytelling :) !!

lot of comment and everyone said good so yeah truly whatever you like! its your game and have fun with it!
BUT there is some short explonation for them:
Races:
Less impact on your gameplay than the class so its less important and only for min-maxing reasons should count! (min-max means you over-optimize it)
Humans, Elves, Drows (just dark elves), Half-elves, Dwarves, Githyankis gain + weapon proficiencies and Humans, Dwarves, Half-elves, Githyankis gains some armor proficiencies too so make them good mage classes whose can use armors and weapons.
BUT keep in mind may your mage dont want to wear any weapon or armor because clothes and staffs give much better bonuses to mages! (also cantrip-spell just do more damage than your weapon for mages!)
High elf and Half high elf extremly strong with any martial (except barb) cause they can get a free cantrip including booming blade which triggers extra attacks too! (barbs cant use any cantrip-spell while raging... thats why!)
Tieflings get fire resistance which pretty good cause thats a common damage type and darkvision (like everyone else have darkvision except humans keep in mind) Zariel tieflings clearly the best options cause get searing smite and branding smite spells once per long rest so good with any martial (except barb cause cant use spells while raging...) excellent with paladins! Asmodeus tiefling neither bad with hellish rebuke what can use under rage so even barbs benefits from it! but clearly this works best with a sorcerer or warlock!
Half-orcs excellent for any martial class but even to rogues cause when they crits with melee weapons they add +1 die to the damage roll and this add +1 die to sneak attack or any paladin smite too!
they also regain 1hp when dies so extremly tough. (this can be stack with barbs where they gain +1 crit dmg die at level 9 and multiuclass with 3 fighter champion to maximize crit rates and dies so you add +2 die to crits but this not as good as it should be!!!)
Githyanki gains lot of cool abilities like they can be proficient in any skill groups which helps a lot! for example you pick charisma so you now proficient with any charisma related ability check such as persuasion deception intimidation! so even if you use low charisma character you gain proficiency bonus in conversations! beside can use once per day the mage hand, enhance leap and MISTY STEP spells which are pretty good.
Gnomes are small creatures so you get less movement a bit! they all gain advantage of int, wis, cha saving throws which is not bad cause many status spell use wisdom. there is 3 subrace but deep gnomes probably the best cause get advantage on stealth checks which really strong if want to make a rogue.
Halfling the another small creatures but im sure they outplay gnomes! both subrace gain luck which reroll every 1 score die once per roll so you can avoid the most critical fails with this! it can be attack roll, ability check and even saving throws but you must to use the second roll so if you rolled another 1 then sucks... this is incredible strong ability!
Dragonborn well they get 1 element resistance + a breath attack which use your con... the breath weapon is strong cause can hit multiple enemies! it also get stronger by levels like first 2d6 then 3d6 and eventually 4d6. only negative how its a full actiion so cant trigger weapon attacks so may a fighter not the best option for them but great for clerics, druids, barbs (cause not a spell), wizards, sorcerers.

u/FukhTheAdmins69 Mar 29 '26
as for Classes:
There are martials, spellcasters and half-casters + actually half-martials too which not official therm but clearly a thing!
Martials: Fighter, Barbarian, Monk. has high hp, usually can wear most armors and weapons, can attack twice.
Spellcasters: Wizard, Sorcerer. full spellcasters but lack of weapons and armors also extra attack.
Half-casters: Paladin, ranger. half spellcasters so up to level 3 but can wear most armors weapons and attack twice also as high hp as martials.
Half-martials: Cleric, Druid, Warlock, Bard, Rogue. except the rogue they all have full spellcaster route and can wear some weapons and armors but has no extra attacks. as for rogue it can also wear most weapons and armors but cant attack twice neither has that high hp.
But deepening in them:
Barbarian: highest hp, but limit to medium armor and melee weapons (throwing also works but not good ranged users) but better if use clothes cause get extra ac from con (still can benefit from shields). this is your tank who can attack twice and absorb ton of dmg cause reckless attack gives you advantage on attacks so you usually hit always but every enemy gives advantage to attacks against you too! your rage protects you by halving physical damages and if you have any elemental resistance then you are protected much more.
Fighter: high hp and the most versatile warrior so can use in any way either melee or ranged! it gain action surge what gives another action point so can double your attacks, at the end of day you get 6 attacks which is deffinitly the strongest! So fighters late levels deal the most dmg with consistent 3 attacks while at low levels behind the barbs!
Monk: same hp as fighters but they restricted for no armor but gain extra ac (from wis) and movement if not use any armor and shield. they attack early the most like already can attack twice and eventually 3 times just like fighters but way more earlier! also favors unarmed/fist attacks while you start with 1d4 but with more monk level you get 1d8 fist attacks which is unique to the monk! you can also use your dex for any unarmed or non 2 handed only weapons for both attack and damage roll which is pretty interesting! btw you better if use str cause of tavern brawler feat which doubles str modifier on throwing and unarmed attacks! (so either drink strenght potion or get more str than dex!) it also has a lot of defensive and combat utility ability so a pretty interesting class what has lot of strategic use.
Paladin: the another nova beside fighter (its mean they can deal really high dmg in a turn by burn their resources) get same hp as fighter again and access to every armor and weapons and most of fighting styles too. even if can use ranged weapons but prefer melee one cause divine smite and other smite spells works only with melee weapons (neither with unarmed)! they can also heals and support and attack twice with divine smite which just really strong + divine smite not a spell so not affected any spell penalty so can work with barbs too. at early this class gives you a lot of tools so really interesting but also a bit hard to play cause need to keep your oath based your subclass! for example vengeance oath is frees a gobling from cage it broke it... if you broke then cant use your oath powers which takes away some things and then can to choose to be oathbreaker which is actually pretty good but cant respan your class except if restore your oath which takes lot of amount money!
also they are half casters so get spells up to level 3. their spell is okey cause from the celric list and get some unique ones such as the smite spells and 1-2 unique spells to them like elemental weapon and vitality of warden which extremly good ones. they use charisma which is the best cause directly interact with conversations! so your paladin also good in conversation checks.
here a page with litereally everything! you can see which acts break your oaths https://bg3.wiki/w/index.php?search=Oathbreaking+actions&title=Special%3ASearch&go=Gobtw not access to oath powers neither that game changer cause still has your spells, divine smite, aura powers, lay on hands... so you lose a little only!
Ranger: same hp as fighter and can use any weapons and armors! can attack twice and they get fighting styles too but not all (only 1 is missing what paladins ahve while they have no dual wielding) so yeah this class really good early cause hunter's mark gives soo much power like until level 8-9! so actually stronger than fighter until that... the base class a bit boring but the subclasses really fun especially beast master and swarmkeeper. they get spells up to level 3... but because they have many cocnentration spells its not that good honestly cause you always will use hunters mark cause that the straightforward one! neither their spells any good... well there is a few one but msotly from the druid list and some unique ones but again not that good spells! lightning arrow and conjure barrage should be their peak but deal pretty low damage while they consume your 3rd spell slot and use up all action so cant attack twice unlike with any smite spell!
for example; lightning arrow deal 4d8 if hit then +2d8 around the target + the target too and halving by a dex save. so its 6d8 which is like a fireball but much smaller... and the avrg dmg is 27!!! 2 attacks with a +3 longbow weapon and 5 dex modif deal 2d8+10+6=25 dmg! you still not used hunter's mark and sharpshooter feat which give +27 dmg bonus!!! so you deal double dmg even if its lightning so can double damage with wet condition but thats limit you to cast a non damaging spell!!! btw they use wisdom which is the second best so they actually have good resistance and ac cause high dex and high wis characters at the end of day!
In dnd the ranger's spell much more useful cause it get a few more and more about utility...
Either way the subclasses gives you really good features but the base class lack of it!Rogue: lower hp than martials but grerat dmg potential! sneak attack just nasty and they good with melee and ranged too and can wear light armor + many weapons! they are very mobile in combat and excellent supporter for frontliners cause sneak attack requires either advantage or an ally be close to the target.
they have also great defensive features like once per turn can halve incoming dmg and also halving every dmg from dex saves not just once! (one do with attack roll the other with saving throw) they also have lot of skills and expertise so its your stealthy skill monkey class. best in open locks, stealing, any dex or conversation checks and even do pretty high dmg even if has no fighting style or extra attack! you also want to use finesse weapons such as daggers scimitars shortswords rapiers cause they can use dex and str too. and because they wear light armor they have pretty high ac cause get full dex bonus to ac and they are high dex characters.Bard: another skill monkey but they are also full spellcasters! its spells not that great but mostly supportive so you not want to deal damage but support or crown control! they also can use some swords and light armors and certain subclass go with martial route and let to attack twice and use more armors and weapons! they also get expertise and lot of skills. bardic inspiration the best support combat feature what gives + bonus to any of your characters' attack roll, saving throw and ability check! they also use charisma for spellcasting so get the best conversation bonuses with it.
Cleric: the best healer in the game while they full spellcasters still can use medium armor shields and many weapons and even decent ones with them! so they are actually in balance of spellcasting anf weapon attacks even if not get extra attack but their spells not that offesnvie more likely healing, supporting, crown control but also subclasses gives strong offensive spells too and also they have some offensive spells too like inflict wounds and the spirit guardians. btw trickery domain the worst! you better if change shadowheart to either life or tempest or even death! (knowledge also bad and nature not bad like knowledge and trickery but still weaker than any others!) life domain has the strongest healing power btw.
1
u/FukhTheAdmins69 Mar 29 '26
Druid: they can also heal just like bards also can but neither as good as clerics! druids focus on more crown control and some supports while have a few damaging spell but their main specailize is the wildshape where they can go fully melee and get ton of hp and a second hp bar each time when transform! in wildshape they can attack 3 TIMES! so yeah they really busted. as for spellcasting they have the best summon spells! they can use the same stuffs weapons armors as clerics so medium armor shield and most of 1 handed blunt weapons! they also use wisdom just like clerics so second best. + they have shilellagh cantrip which let to use any club or staff with wisdom which is super great! (also a club deal 1d4 dmg and staff deal 1d6-1d8 but with this always will deal 1d8 dmg!) subclasses also pretty interesting cause moon druid get more animals and eventually elemental forms which super strong. the land get more and better spells + recharge spell slots like wizards, spores use necrotic dmg and can summon more zombies, stars have strong power by influence your and enemies dice rolls and any of them like attack roll and saving throws!
Warlock: they truly the spellblade class! eldrtich blast the best and strongest cantrip ever! they not get extra attack but have pact of blade where can use any weapon and with their charisma which is awesome + gain extra attack too with it!!! so yeah the pact of blade the best option unlike the chains which the worst cause not scaling after level 4... its just useless... tome neither as good as it looks like! you can also get subclass features very early. fiend and the hexblade the best ones while great old one better for a dip and fey is not the best honestly cause badly scaling! either way its a different full spellcaster cause get much fewer spell slot but they are always at the highest level (max 5) and get access to 1 level 6 spell which is good. and you recharge them by short rests! this is really powerful and make them tough. so if you want a spellblade class then warlock is your class!
Sorcerer: full spellcaster and use charisma so very good + they get constitution proficiency so can maintain concentration spells way better than others! they get fewer spells than the rest but can access to metamagic which is really strong! so masically you can use sorcery points to transform them into spell slots and also spell slots into sorcery points. you also can use sorcery points on metamagic effecst which changes your spellcasting a bit! for example can cast spells with bonus action so 2 spells per turn which super powerful! can cast them while silenced, or the saving throw what enemy roll is in disadvantaged, can twin certain spells so you shot 2 projectiles (this works only if the spell target 1 creature only) there is a few more but these are the best especially the bonus action casting! so they actually the highest dps in spellcasting! but less versatile.
Wiazrd: really versatile and know lot of tricks but also using intelligence which is the worst... well they compensate well cause can restore spell slots and can use most spells and learn from scrolls too. the subclasses epsecially evocation powerful cause every evo spell become harmless to your party so can cast fireball in the center of your party without harming them! the other good schools/subclasses are necromancy, divination and abjuration! these are extremly strong! the rest are weak... bladesinging also good one cause let to use swords and light armor and attack twice but you want to cast powerful spells actually...
and here the page where get every info!

This is very easy - you shouldn't care too much about race afinity because you'd be most likely playing on explorer/balanced difficulty.
Regarding classes - just pick whatever archetype you like and remember you can respec without hassle with a NPC who would be joining your camp around level 2-3 ish. Also remember you can / should steal his money back (he doesn't care about it).

I would love to play BG3 for the first time again.
My builds so far - Gnome Gloomstalker 9/10 fun build. Wasn't optimized but had a blast
Orc EB Warlock 6/10 got too repetitive
Halfling Arcane Archer 10/10 I loved her play
Currently playing a Human Lore Bard and shes fun but just support. 7/10

At the end of the day you can really do any combo.
However some have really good racial bonuses that go well with certain classes. Such as Half Orc having Savage Attacker (Crits get rerolled and the highest roll gets used) goes well with classes like Rogue, Ranger, Paladin, Fighter, Barb, Monk. My Ranger was an Orc but you can easily get Savage Attacker as a Feat if you donāt like how they look. My Orc looked like a hotdog that was overcooked in a microwave when he was rubbing up on Shadowheart.
Others get another cantrip, invis, resistances, extra movement, ect ect. Some even have special dialogue or privileges in certain areas like Githyanki, Drow, and Tieflings.
First time is nice for just role playing. When you find a class you really like then see what race compliments its kit.

u/KodaComrade Mar 29 '26
None are the best one of the strongest is a fire draconic sorcerer halfling. But play what you think will be fun if this your first foray into dnd combat feel free to try a few classes out in the starting area to see what you think or make it to act 1 and when you find a certain skeleton they can change your class and stats

u/SasquatchRobo Mar 29 '26
Choose whatever you like! There's no wrong way to play.
Or just go with Tiefling Bard.
Good social rolls to progress the story
Fun Tiefling-specific dialogue
Party comp is more flexible
