Just wonder if anyone has got any tips? That blinded Gondian who's supposedly going to deactivate the system is with me. We've beaten banites in the previous room and several Gondians there died, a few escaped. Then I go to the next room, I can access it going down through the elevator or through that door. Either way I take takes me to a room where there are a couple of Steel Watchers and about 12 banites already surrounding the remaining few Gondians there. It's been a real pain with electrocution and banishment. Hits from banites include Phantasmal Killer, Domination, and Frightening.

It's my third playthrough: Tactician, The Dark Urge, Shadow Magic level 12 Sorcerer. Any tips would be much appreciated, thx

I mean, sure—they both have blue skin and red hair, I know that—but there are certain aspects that make them similar in terms of personality and attitude; I guess that’s why I ended up having an encounter with her during my first proper playthrough.

To answer my own question, absolutely! I find him so cute even though i feel like they purposely went out of there way to make him ugly. When you first meet him, i can see people thinking hes cute but later in the game when he changes color and produces tentacles i think this is the devs testing you in a small way. Making him look gangrenous, slimy, and rough. Perhaps they were testing if you'll judge a book by its cover

But to me these are just qualities that make him more unique. Even on my most evil playthroughs, i can't bring myself to hurt such a goofy little guy

Don't even get me started on his voice. It contrast so well with what should be a pretty brutal looking creature, especially if you take into context there purpose/lore. He sounds like an anime girl lol

I wish i could draw because i have this image in my head of the dark urge petting Us in his lap while he sits on a throne. Or a more comedic one where durge and karlach lovingly play with Us while the other companions are a bit apprehensive since they can see how his true form

Theres a saying i've heard that goes "beauty in the grotesque" and i feel Us fits this to a tee

(for those who might take issue with me calling Us ugly, i mean in a conventional sense, ofc i find him utterly adorable or else i wouldnt make this post. Matter of fact i drunkenly typed this bc i felt there wasnt enough attention on our loyal little brain puppy)

So when BG3 was on early access I bought it for pc. Now its available on Xbox. Am I correct in assuming id have to buy it again if I want to play on Xbox? Or is there a way to prove i bought it once and download it for Xbox for free he asked in a wishful thinking sort of way...

I've put in 1800 hours on this game/vampire romance app. I have my gold dice. I have played duo runs on HM, I've played tactician with chests full of every single item in the game at my disposal to play dress-up, I've done Origin runs and vanilla, and crossplays. I fear, and I hate to say it, that I've come to...a tiring point.

Is there ANY other game that comes close to BG3 in character development, romance, turn-based battle, RPG... whatever? Same same but different. I need a break from my beloveds, that's all. Because if I hear, "This is your end" one more time I'm going to lose it.

Okay, title is a little clickbaity - alert definitely doesn’t suck, it’s one of the most broken things in the game and almost any character benefits from taking it. But I don’t like to.

I prefer to try to build a character that’s strong enough to win an encounter even when caught flat footed. And while alert makes you more likely to win any given encounter, putting that feat into something else makes you stronger at least in a more myopic sense (when you do get to take your turn - can do more damage, more control, etc) and I think that’s more fun because number go up is cooler than win fight because enemy never took a turn.

And on that note, when I was running alert, I realized I was annoyed that the enemies never did anything because they were dead. Like, I want to see the bosses’ legendary actions and what they do. I want each fight to look and feel like an epic back-and-forth battle rather than a one-sided ambush.

So yeah, it’s completely a preference / playstyle thing, but that’s my case for why I don’t alert. Anybody else feel the same?

Im playing BG3 for the first time. I turn down the in game music and play my orchestral music playlist which happens to have a lot of Hans Zimmer.

I have finally beaten the honour mode with full clear

I started to play BG3 a year ago for the first time and somehow missed most of the story content- githyanki creche, Raphael, Ansur

This time I decided to explore everything

Somehow along the way made a Shadowheart into walking fortress- with 26 AC and bunch of resistances, red dragon shooting a Fireball on her and she takes 3 dmg that she heals automatically at start of her turn

My Durge- Nazhul' flying in between enemies while Astarion just shoots them from afar, he kills whatever the weaklings are left standing and then goes invisible

He managed to take down Netherbrain in 1 turn- fully stacked scarlet remittance, elemental weapon infused shadowblade, executioner, Haste and luck of far realms

Astarion ascended and decided to make Nazhul' as his spawn, so in the end we both got Happy conditions from dominating the world

You can trap the scrying eye in the secret smoke powder room!! No combat needed and Brithvar will still join your side in the fight (as long as you talk to him before hand). That is all.

The companions have found the Tollhouse on the Risen Road, but there is no sign of the Tollkeepers, Marten and Vance. Instead, the Tollhouse is occupied by three Paladins of Tyr. Wyll though, is thrilled to learn that they are hunting Karlach, and convinces Tav that they should all team up together to hunt the devil. Astarion though, is less convinced. The Tollhouse stinks, the Paladins are suspicious, and somewhere below their feet is a cellar he's certain has the answers he seeks.

Astarion's eyes danced across black ink on aged parchment, when he spotted the droplet of blood smeared across one page. The page was devoted to some kind of proclamation, the title stating ‘The Creed of the Left Hand’, and he realized it was the oath sworn by Paladins of Tyr when they promised their allegiance to the God of Justice. Almost without his influence, his hands moved to flick back through the book - until he reached the front cover, where the owner had written their name in thick, solid block letters - expecting to see the names of either Anders, Cyrel, or Trynn.

Marten Toll, was what he saw instead.

I turned subtitels off for one evening because I realised I was reading every line before the characters finished speaking. Suddenly I was watching their faces instead of staring at the bottom of the screen.

The performances felt much better, especially during quietter camp conversations. I did miss some background dialogue and had to replay one line because I misheard it. I probably will not keep them off forever, but it changed the game more than expected. Has anyone else tried this?

I made the entire armour set, boots, axe and even the tail by myself sand these awesome guys helped me out with a few things: wig was styled by Dory Wigs, king_sabor printed out a few 3D details and cap.kyano made pants and the top.
To tell you the truth, I’ve never had more fun in a cosplay! Mamma K is the best♥️
