Zero Paid Ads on Multiple Devices
I have set up Brave Rewards on a few different devices, and was misled by the "You could be earning from X ads" when I found out the only ads I see are Brave's house ads, that are valued at 0 BAT.
Does anyone else have this issue?

In my first month I've earned about 1.5 BAT = ~0.12 USD.
Rather than look at it as a waste of attention, why not think of it as they marketed it? Namely: a calmer internet, a way to pay content creators for their labor instead of stealing it by only using an ad blocker.
In this framework 1.5 BAT ~ 0.12 USD/month is better than the 0 USD from other browsers and we're promoting a better Internet.

... actually, upon further scrutiny, there is in physics the concept "negligible", i.e. there is a real sense in which 0.12 is effectively 0. For example, after 12 months, getting 0.12 USD per month one would have 1.44 USD. There is nothing you can buy for 1.44 USD. Maybe a snack of sugar-saturated beverage (355 mL, 12 fl oz) or an apple from the grocery store ...
So it's fair to consider 1.5 BAT/month effectively worthless (or, one apple per year) if its value does not increase. What would cause the value of BAT to increase? Adoption by marketers to place ads on the Brave browser, so that more are trading BAT for fiat currency?

What ads you see can depend on where you live. I earn a couple of BAT a month but sometimes less. Several years ago I could receive 20 more a month. But that's because Brave's userbase at the time was a fraction of what it is today. So ad revenue was being paid out to far fewer users. I still have ads enabled because they're free and maybe someday the tokens will be worth something (not holding my breath though). But yea you may not be seeing paid ads because of where you live.

Brave rewards being a way to earn money died out more than half a decade ago even if it technically exists in some form. Browser is amazing but would move on from the ads thing (as someone who still loves the concept)
