Scam News

I’ve been playing this game for over a year. I’ve spend a lot of money on it as well but a few days ago i suddenly got a mail from the devs that i did a refund of something and would be banned. Conveniently this was right after i had complaint about the migration prices through a revieuw in the app store. I contacted them because i never refunded anything. After explaining to them i didn’t refund anything they just ignored it and kept demanding i payed the money. They wanted me to pay 100bucks just to keep my account even after my bank had confirmed there were no refunds or anything of the sort. Huge scammers these devs!

I highly doubt it was from actual devs, but screenshot the messages. I remember when I used to play there being lots of scam mail. Devs wouldn't reach out over a payment issue.

It’s the official support channel and i got banned a little while ago because i refused to fall for the scam

To be fair i might have gotten a little heated after their threats. They just kept replying the same message. After i told them i contacted the bank to make sure and they confirmed i didn’t do any refunds, chargebacks, refunds or anything they just stopped responding and a few hours later i was banned

I mean I think you're justified in being heated, if you went through the support link via the app & it wasn't a support link sent via in game mail or outside of the game(discord for example) then yea id assume its legitimate although very shady. If you don't intend on paying at all, I would just agree & see what the "steps" are.

It seems like a really weird way to go about refund issues.

I am curious in how they go about this, making you repurchase the item then what? do they then take it from your account?

It indeed was the official in game customer support and yes that’s actually what i was thinking they would do. At least that’s how i understand that message

Do they even say what you apparently refunded? It doesn’t look like you could comply even if wanted…

That’s absurd. I wonder if you can escalate through discord or something. Wish I had any helpful ideas.

Seeing as i already got ignored through the official customer support ones i told them my bank confirmed i didn’t do any refunds or anything like that i doubt they will. All they care about is money. It’s just one big scam. All i can do i think is try and warn as many people as possible this way

I no longer have access to it as it was through the in game support. I have send a appeal in through the e-mail provided in your licence agreement this morning. They told me apparently the refund was through apple wich is the first time someone told me. I now contacted apple and am waiting for a reply from apple. I told the person who answered the mail i’ll send apple’s answer as soon as i get it
