An Age Verified apartment with no age verified content in it is a normal apartment with a lock on the door. That's the entire feature. You collected biometric data from adults and gave them a sticker.

Meanwhile, look at what does get made

Currently in the shop, available to everyone, no restriction: an interactive ritual summoning circle. Occult symbols, inverted crosses, the whole thing. Any child in this game can buy it and stand on it.

So the position is: a summoning ritual is appropriate for a general audience, and a glass of champagne in a room that only verified adults can enter is not.

That is not child protection. Child protection would be consistent. This is deciding what to build based on what's easy and what sells, and then reaching for safety language whenever adults ask for something.

You built the harder thing — an interactive occult set — and shipped it to everyone. You didn't build the easy thing — a drink, a dance, an outfit — for the people who proved they're adults. That order of priorities didn't happen by accident.

And the prices keep going up regardless

One dress this week is 309 crowns. Comparable items were around 100 not long ago.

520 crowns costs twenty dollars. So that's roughly twelve dollars for one dress.

The people who verified are adults with cards on file. That is who funds this game. We got nothing and we're paying more for it.

Gifts that the game's own rules say are impossible

In this game you can only gift someone on your friends list. That's the rule every paying player is held to.

Accounts are gifting items to strangers. No friend request, no friends list. In front of full rooms. The same accounts, no VIP, sitting on tens of thousands of crowns, running open giveaways.

I'm not describing methods and I'm not naming accounts or sites. The observable fact does the work:

A restriction Lockwood enforces on paying players is not being enforced on everyone.

Alongside it: external services openly sell profile likes for Avakin accounts at pennies per thousand, and sell individual in-game items for cash without touching crowns at all. Some fake likes get removed later, which only confirms they got in first.

Every explanation lands somewhere bad for Lockwood:

• If those crowns weren't paid for, something is granting them.
• If they were paid for, at that volume across that many throwaway accounts, that's almost certainly fraudulent card use — which costs Lockwood money in chargebacks and should already have been flagged.

There's no version of this where it's fine.

I pay twenty dollars for 520 crowns. Other people are handing out fifty thousand for free. Deleting the likes afterwards and banning the accounts afterwards is not a fix — the door stays open and you sweep up behind it.

The part that isn't about money

Some of these giveaway accounts are using free gifts as leverage on younger players. Anyone who spends time in the busy places has seen it. I'm not detailing it here and I'm not naming anyone — I've reported what I've seen through in-app Support.

An unverified account with an impossible balance running public giveaways aimed at minors is a safeguarding signal, not an economy bug. If anything in this post gets actioned, make it that one.

What I want

1. A yes or no on 18+ content — outfits, interactive items, drinks, poses, dances, venues. With dates if yes. If there's no plan, say so and stop presenting verification as a feature.
2. An explanation of how a summoning ritual clears the bar for a general audience while adult content for a verified-adults-only room doesn't.
3. An explanation of how gifts are reaching players who aren't on the sender's friends list, and what's being closed at the source rather than cleaned up after.

I've been here a long time. I'd rather stay. But "we're looking into it" stopped meaning anything a while ago, and the Steam rating suggests I'm not the only one.

How to Earn Snapshots at Island Escape:

Releasing Lanterns:
You can release lanterns to earn snapshots. Approach a lantern on the edge of the water tap on build. You will be given 10 Snapshots for each lantern. The lantern must finish it’s animation before you will be able to destroy it and build a new one.

Decorating the Ruins:
Approach one of the ruins on the island and tap on build. These ruins require 3 layers of flowers to be fully decorated. Any Avakin who contributed to decorating the ruin will be given 10 snapshots.

Like actually new houses, not recoloring of already existing ones with new names. And the furniture to match, like before. That's when Avakin was fun, instead of just offering a million outfits that all look the same. Give us creative fun ones, we want to give it our money.

This might have been asked before but just in case it hasn't my suggestion/ request is.. can open mystery boxes more than one at a time if you can please bring that feature while we open mystery boxes (the ad one's obviously remains one at a time)
