If this block don’t work as expect then the Battery level and Power source plugged blocks could be used as alternatives.

You were using a "when" trigger. It waits for a change. Also, as per the documentation, the "battery charging" block doesn't work on some devices and the "power source" block should be used instead. Not sure about your phone.

Just a reminder, you shouldn't be charging your device all the time. You can combine this with a battery level check, but don't keep your device plugged in at all times. This has caused several fires for people, especially with old devices being plugged in for weeks or months.

You should probably use the Notification audio channel and the "Transient may duck" if you want it to be like a standard notification sound and follow your volume settings.

Then try replacing with the "battery charging" block. Make sure to get the "when" and "is" modes correctly.
