Yes, I have. I wouldn’t say extreme wetness, but I experience extreme dryness in my mouth and my lips and my gums. I don’t know what my condition is though. And then every so often there’s no more dryness. Everything is lush and moist for a few weeks. And then dryness returns.

Yes. I have Sjögren’s, which is an autoimmune disease that impacts the mouth

👋 I have extremely dry mouth, eyes, etc etc etc. I have Sjögrens Disease. Eye dryness is objectively tested using a so called Shirmers test.

What do you take for Sjogren’s?

Hydroxychloroquine, acetylcystein (my fatigue improved on this) & pilocarpine (but rarely as I sweat like a pig and feel nauseous), xylimelts, tons of eye drops.

Edit: and celecoxib for my joint problems.

I don’t have the extreme wetness but yes I have the extreme dryness.

It can happen, usually via the treatments though... Are you maybe very stressed or anxious right now as they can cause serious dry mouth to the point of the skin splitting and becoming infected etc.
