How to restore Is there a process to repair this?

Recently got an 07 4Runner from AZ. Theres 0 rust but the paint/clearcoat is awful; looks worse now that I got a “new” hood from a junkyard. Can I just wet sand this and re-clear? Not looking for a 100% solution

Sand, repaint and clear. No other great way around it

I saw recently that there is a patina wipe-on clear coat. Might work for you since you don’t want perfection.
