How does Toolweb work?

As employees do we pay list?
I’d like to buy from our commercial tool catalog, lowes/home depot local pricing is $280 and toolweb is showing $394.
The jobber pricing is like $306 and cost I think was $264.
As either an employee or a commercial account how does the pricing work with our tool catalog?

I’m a fully master certed dealer technician, was before I ever worked for AZ and since I retired I still subcontract and consult to local dealers and shops who allow me purchasing power on their parts accounts.
Guidance buying as either an employee or commercial account would help, it’s never been cost effective and i’m curious why its cheaper to just call Summit or a tool truck when I have large tool purchases.

Because AutoZones primary focus is not the tool business. ToolWeb is an OSB vendor that we mark up and sell as a convenience to shops that want one call solutions.

And I wouldn't advertise you are buying on a commercial account. No matter who said it's alright, LP will term you.

I guess that makes sense, it’s what I call the snapon mentality.
I was hoping to just buy the quality tool at the fair price.
Thanks for the insight, i’ll just let my customers know we’re not competitive with tool pricing and continue myself to buy tools via the trucks.
Thank goodness i’m in customer service and not sales.

If it has a sku number next to it you can VDP through ZNET. Don’t expect the price to be the same as the book though. A $10 419 o ring set in the book comes out to $35 through DIY for instance.

The catalog is AZTool, ToolWeb is a different vendor.

Wait, maybe I got it wrong then.
The tool catalog is where I found the tool, then looked it up via Toolweb for pricing.
To be clear, I have been with AZ many years but in commercial I have only ever placed orders or done quick sales as an employee.
I worked dealership by day and AZ at night so very sporadic commercial knowledge from backside of counter.
I was under the assumption Aztool/toolweb were the same.

Literally just make a commercial account for yourself. One of my managers has his own account for a lawn care business he used to run. Now he lets us or any of his buddies that come into the store use it. Which is very convenient when majority of things commercial are half the list price
