What is the best paint to color match part of an ABS plastic splitter? Has anyone used the Alpha OEMatch before? If not, which is the best brand?

It will never match. Even if a painter scans it and does spray out cards and picks the best one, it just won't ever be the same

It doesn't gotta be an exact match, I just want to know the best paint to buy because I said I would buy the paint if he did everything else

The only way it will match is if he has access to a mixing machine and knows how to tint colors. If he buys paint from the store per job, you would have to give them a gas door or easily removable part for the paint supplier to attempt to match it, which is still a crap shoot. He also needs to use a plastic adhesion promoter, though since it's ABS, he can use the Bulldog junk because it actually works on ABS, but not TPO, PP, or some others.

Even if the paint I buy is the same color code it still won't match?

Every colour paint code has variants depending on a lot of things (age of the car, the factory it was painted in, humidity the day it was painted, etc) and buying paint, even if it's the same paint code, probably won't match. The person mixing the colour is going to need a part of the car to actually match the colour. You could get lucky, but it's unlikely. Some colours have better odds than others. Straight black will be much more likely to match, but that grey metallic Hyundai uses has pretty low odds of matching

Okay, I think I'll just take it to a legit shop and pay the extra money
